Warm mist may produce mold and all kinds of ugly things . Just my opinion .

You can make a DIY passive humidifier.....they work pretty well in smaller spaces.

Cool mist in my opinion! When I was still in my homemade box it was only 2ft deep and 4 ft high by 4ft long and though the warm mist helped in earlier stages it just got too hot so I got a cool mist and it worked amazingly keeping the rh right and helped maintain a nice stable temp in the mid 70’s

depending on how big your grow space...I have hung a wrung out bath towel in my 4x2 tent and slowed the fan down just a bit to pick up RH

I'm experimenting with a fogger in a 4x14 room. It has ten emmitter heads, seperate power supply, cost 100 on sale. It's intended for making smoky ponds, but I use one at work for grafting and cuttings chambers. It takes a little DIY'ng to get it going in each situation.

fog is about sterile, misters are not. Misters need to be cleaned inside once in a while, or they will grow bacteria/mold in the tubes, etc.

I am having trouble with keeping water level up though, gotta check a few times a day, or set up a bigger volume reservoir.
