I know you can get rid of the gnats! Lot of faith it's going to get fixed within a week
yeah no doubt, once that smart pot comes out, the issue will come to an end... a couple days later, of course they gonna try going to the others on it's way out.. but I'm be sure just keep hitting them as I have and they just won't be able to live...

I just got a new PPM meter, I got this one for 80 bucks.. :--
Apera Instruments EC60 Premium Waterproof Conductivity Pocket Tester

This reminds me why I prefer growing in soil :D - but it's just a different set of issues to be considered. Am waiting till late spring when the wife leaves for the construction of cabinet No#2 (No.1 has served it's use as an experiment that works (2-3 plants continuous 20/4 cycle) but I want an extra 20-30cm of headroom for some taller varieties << at the moment if I see things like 70-100cm as a standard strain guide then I either won't purchase or I often end up giving away beans. Yer you can constrain plant's by potsize but im just a med user not an Autowarrior hehe << my attempts to constrain larger plants remain experimental.

I grow both and you can't tell my autos from my photos. If your autos smell and taste like hay, you need to review your grow protocols as there is no reason for any cannabis to taste that way, other than no/improper cure. I've grow at least 60 strains of autos, not one has ever tasted bad. And I'll match my Blue Dragon to just about any photo period for potency. She's every bit as potent as the Blueberry Headband she was bred from.
Been meaning to ask you. Are the mini tiny micro seed specs. Are those caused by the fem process or is it an auto trait?

They are extremely small and dont cause a pop or seed burn taste. Or even change taste at all. I dont care much about them. Just curious what causes them.

If there's one thing I noticed here it's that the discussions here are super healthy and truly help facilitate ideas and get people thinking.

if you start bending them early you can control height, I trained an autoUltimate to 20" in my window
