Got a quick question maybe someone could answer for me. View attachment 845651View attachment 845652View attachment 845653(FYI these are all photos & still on a veg light cycle, so I do not know the sex yet).

Was watering this morn & after testing the ph of my water I tested the ph of my coco with my blu lab pen. Coco came out to 7.0 before watering & 6.8 after. I water plants using a ph of 6.3. So after testing all of that i decided to test the run off water. It came out to 7.8. Is this normal for coco & runoff to test way higher ph than the water that I’m putting in it? They look great so I’m not too worried about, just peaked my curiosity more than anything?
From everything I've read runoff testing with coco gives whacky results and should not be taken into consideration.

As a few have said right around 6.0pH seems to be the sweet spot. @Unique is super big on the 5.98 I've seen him mention that at least 8-9 times over the last couple days and it seems to work perfectly for him based on his grows.

Got to get in there and do some training...Tuck some leaves, bend this, bend that the usual..

That seems to correspond well with what I’m seeing in my own grow. I will lower water from 6.3 to 5.9 from now on. Maybe that will eliminate the rare but occasional rust spot spot that pops up, which I now believe is slight cal lockout from slightly high ph.

was going to out this in the Infirmary thread..but....
This is Northern Lights auto by Vision seeds.
The two plants are the same age, 35 days , at left is a Double Grape, Right is the NL
Everything is the same. soil, Nutes. PH, Lights etc. EXCEPT grow container...this is iin a 3gal smart pot

At first the I noticed plant was very slow at growing, and still is. It is just now showing preflower/pistils. The leaves do not get very big (pic ref) . The leaves are very papery, Brittle.
Also notice what appeared to be a cal-mag def. early on, although I use cal-mag . so I increased slightly, did not want to make it to harsh. but still shows signs . As of late I have tried upping N..to no avail. Of course now Iam showing signs of Nute burn due to increased nutes trying to resolve problem. All I have found on the Inter-webs about Wrinkled leaf syndrome is that plant has a problem at the cellular level, which causes it to not be able to utilize nutrients, or grow vigorously Yield is very poor etc. View attachment 845659 View attachment 845660 View attachment 845661 View attachment 845662

That is a strange one. I think you have a combo problem there of some sort. I also think it would be root related. I assume you have checked pH over and over, and that you are not over watering because it's neighbor looks great. First guess is some kind of soil borne pest like mold or bacteria. I would run it by Waira in the infirmary though because he can pick out individual symptoms from a complicated mess like nobody in the business.

Back to work tomorrow for me... but before I go I just put 4 seeds into root riots - 2x 2 Fast 2 Vast gifted by a friend and 2 Zambeza Blueberry. I last tried this latter strain in Tenerife in a home-built tent under a home-built light. Let's see if it goes better with some "proper" equipment. It did sweet FA last time lol.

Night folks! :bighug:And Happy New Year again!

4 Autocobs @24/7with marshydro only turn on when temps get to low, 4x2x5' tent. temp 77-82, RH 40-50 , 8" carbon/exhaust. 6" fans circ.
I'm pretty confident it's ph related, it not take much to knock it off a bit, I really believe that's what's going on there.
