Curing in Glass Jars - 3 questions please

I know the ideal curing temperature in 21c (same as drying) but am i really going to suffer at 24-26c region? I dry at 21c but that involves an additional aircon, which i prefer to use temporarily.

So will 24-26c be ok to cure? Ive stored purchased already cured etc buds like that vac sealed for months at 25-30c and never seen any issues whatsoever but obviously strive for the best now that i am learning and growing.
not too much you can do in my opinion if the ambient temps are mid 20s just keep them in a dark cool place no direct sunlight should be all good

@Kyote To be honest i am now following your exact method, except I use Integra Boost 62% and havent been adding them to jars yet really. but now that i have a better feel for it naturally i will start adding the humidipaks to jars immediately once jarred next time. By burping to 50%, do you mean you leave the jars open till RH meter inside says 50% then you re-seal the jars? Rinse and repeat...

Few slight issues with working out exactly the bud was dry, but now i understand how long this roughly take in my environment (1 week in brown bags).

Yes, burping, letting the jar air out until the RH is around 50 to 55%, then put the lid back on. I keep my jars in a closet that is dark most of the time and a bit cooler than the rest of the house. I wouldn't be too concerned about the temperature as long as it is not too hot or too cold. Kinda like the 3 bears.

Has anyone tried this?

I know... I know... Don't be lazy. lol. But I have a life (disputable) and don't want to have to stick around home for a month burping jars once a day.

If you have to burp for a month, you didn't let them dry enough before putting them in the jar. 2x a day for a week or so, then 1x a day for another week or so tops is my experience.

hi i dry nearly all my harvests in brown paper bags before they go into jars if they are still saying over 70 RH they wouldn't be in my jars at that stage i would leave them out again for another 8 hrs then retest them I've never had any mould in any of my jars

Thank you everyone for the information. I now know what I am doing. Here is a pic of a bud currently being cured. MY FIRST EVER HARVEST! hehe

and another pic of another plant getting hop in coming weeks...

Not much info on the site.
Kit inlude a vacuum pump,a timer and some kind of syphon ...to act as a checkvalve?
Anyone knows how it works?

@IndoorTropics
Nice first bud and harvest! Congrats!
Great feeling isn't it? :smoking:

if the bovedas are brand new they cant absorb moisture well.. the jars will go well over 62...you have to get them (buds) below 62 so humidity exchange can take place ime.

Yeah.

There's an inlet check valve and and outlet check valve.
Pump is on a timer and comes on 15 minutes a day
That's it.

Here's one for jars with the valves in the top and the inlet air hose is long enough to circle the bottom.
