CS - 1st timer questions. How to time it? Better to reverse half a plant and pollinate it?

Any feedback?
Not really sure what to make of it to be honest. When you dig into the parts of the plant you sprayed do you see any clumps of male sacs ? It almost seems like you may have started your spraying kind of late. Did you start at the first sign of your plant showing sex or earlier ? I've had one look like that but still have male sacs under the bud. It happened when i tried using 4-5 month old left over CS from a previous run.

what was your set up for making the CS ? Did you laser it ? Water used, volts, time, silver source ?

Started spraying day 18. My set up for silver is siler rods a 6 v 100ma supply, I read the 100ma is the best for the smallest particals. Laser beam can be seen striaght through the solution.

Also bought some 30pp as well and tried with that.

I've looked through the buds and no male parts

Hi everyone, sorry to hijack the thread but I have a question regarding the timing. If I grow two plants of the same strain, and I start applying CS one week from birth on one of them to get pollen, is it possible to have the other plant go from seed to harvest and yield both mature seeds and bud within the timeline it would take to go from seed to bud?

You might not have been giving enough voltage. I use three 9v batteries in Series providing up to 27v depending on how much juice my batteries have left. I believe a 9v battery is only 50ma and that stays the same in a series connection. I'm guessing 6v would work but not sure how long you would have to leave it for. This is just my best guess, I'm no expert on CS making. I didn't like the idea of using a power supply to make mine, I felt safer using batteries in a controlled spot and not having to worry about the Power supply causing a fire.

I think ideally you want to stagger the grow a little bit. Start the one your are reversing a couple weeks earlier to pollinate the 2nd plant. You will be able to do them at the same time but because you will be pollinating the 2nd plant late in bud development it means you will have to harvest it late as well. If this is the case, I believe your best option is to only pollinate the lower branches and harvest in stages. The top half first and wait 2 extra weeks for the lower pollinated branches.

Thanks! What if I grow them all in solo cups exclusively for the purpose of creating seeds? Will that fasten things up?

I dont think so. My solo cup grows finished the same time as a in a big pot.

This finished in about 70 days. I pollinated one of the lower buds on this girl.

Omg that is super impressive for a solo cup! Coco? So 70 days includes mature seeds? And did you already have pollen or you collected it from a plant you started at the same time?

Yea it was in Coco. 70 Days includes mature seeds. But I already had the pollen to pollinate early. You need to allow the plant 4-5 weeks after you pollinate for seeds to mature.

I'm going to make a 3 way 9V like you. Are you doing it in a triangle? Got a pick of your battery set up please?

Also how long are you running your CS for?
