Hi bud, I've got a lil' suggestion for your next grow. When adding soil to your pot, take a jar (pasta sauce, or similar) and place it in the middle, top of the pot. Fill the pot to the levels you'd like, and water it in. Afterwards remove the jar, and it should leave you with a nice void right in the center. Fill this in with a nute'less mix (peat and perlite only, maybe some worm casting), and your young seedling will be WAY less likely to have any burns, or stunting from hot soil. As @Discretepete2676 said the cotyledon will supply the young seedling with it's nutes. To be honest shes looking good bud. You've got some bright minds here too. Can't wait to see what she turns in to. Till later, take care bud!:smoking:

Raise your PH to around 6.2 to 6.3 if possible. That is the same on I used and it worked great. I did not have to PH my water because I use reverse osmosis water only. Ph is usually around 7ish. I give straight RO until day 10 than I stay feeding advanced nutrients PH prefect line up so I don't mess with PH at all really. I did test it to see a couple times out of curiosity and it always ranged from 6.15 to 6.45 after adding in all my nutrients.
I think to are correct and should bring the pH between 6 to 6.5 and see how she looks. How much water are you giving at a time and how often?
Well at first I gave the soil a gallon of water before I dropped bean in soil then I kept watering around the coco plug she hasent been watered in two days

Best thing to do is remain calm lol always remember less is more. ...u can always feed heavier if you see a defeciency and are certain what it is and how to take care of it (very useful guide in the infirmary section)....but if you over feed and notice the damage is done. You have to flush, if severe, and stunt plant and etc etc lol the cotyledon are not as important to watch add the new growth, week they are because they let us know if there's a problem, but as your fixing the problem you have to focus on how new growth is affected. That yellow tips will never turn green again so the new growth tells you current status of happiness lol

Dude, you have no idea how bad my first attempt looked. I had a journal on a different forum, and just set it to private. It was so embarrassing I wouldn't even let people see it. Your doing fine. It is easy to think things are going bad, but remember this is just a plant, and it wants to grow.

In regards to watering, the best method I've found to check its levels are to just pick it up. After a while you will become familiar with what it should feel like. I have a few flowering plants that have to be watered daily, and they lose about 3-4 pounds between waterings. After doing a new plant, and watering it in, just pick it up a few time, and try to remember the feeling. Always keep in mind it is easier to fix dry soil, than it is to fix wet soil. A dry plant will respond in hours, where a water logged plant may take days to a week.

I have to feed a couple girls and check on my garden. Been gone all day, I'll b back very very shortly. Im subbed in so I will check back when I get on. I really hope that read I sent helps. I still use close to the same method. Just a little different. Would b happy to share if your interested as I just like to keep it simple lol
