New Grower Cooling help.

When cooling what's more important blowing the air out or having more air in. I'm in the south and Already it's getting in the 80's the temps in my cab get as high as 88°, and the outside temp is 96 so letting that air in doesn't help much. I can add more fans but am not sure what benefits more, having more intake fans blowing air in or having more exhaust fans blowing air out. I need to keep it cool. At night it's OK as it stays in the low 70s high 60s

How is ur humidity? I was lucky temps were high humidity was low so I got a cool mist humidifier and run it on a timer. It seems to work fine aside from the couple time a day filling it with my cheap one. Not a big deal as I'm in love with the coco and water a couple times a day for some plants anyways

yeah thats a tough time to grow when OD temps are up.even Rh in the mid summertime with temps are a biiatch man to say the least.gotta have good airflow watching for windburn n the like. I dont suppose you have a place you can hang up sheets and/or blankets to cool a small section down for the intake air and a small AC unit by chance? thats often what ppl do who grow year round.gotta get cooler air in especially if theyre autos.photos will exhibit some stresses with those temps indoors or out but...pulling the warmer air from the light areas tends to be the best best.ofcourse youll ahve to increase your intake slightly too. but ive always done the expelling of air and increase the intake some..negative pressure tends to work best if its a sealed tent which is tougher to run in those temps..trust me i go through this each summer lol n late springtime..hello outdoors!lol! nah i stil grow all year round they just tend to exhibit heat stresses and in organic soil thatll totally help but wont fix your problem.keeping the soil on the slightly drier side you can give cooler sips of water lowered by roughly 8-10 degrees F much cooler could shock the roots.also adding more coolor water the the root zone.transition zone of its a larger pot will induce some O2 feeding behaviors as well so thats prolly the thing youll have to do assuming your soil is drained well enough n so forth. lol ya get all that? if your inside tent temps are 85F or there abouts water at 75F should be ok. Kelp helps,Yucca helps aloe and humus all help these soil characteristics in treating stresses in grow.but autos are way more prone to not diggin that.

Got it, thanks dude, have like 6 fans and had 5 blowing air in (intake) and 1 exhaust fan. But now I see that more exhaust fans is better as it creates negative pressure. Have a small window unit and honeslty that's the only reason they stay cool cuz I'm hot as hell In the room sweating while they getting cooler air lmao.

Hi dedereweko, I drop the temp in my tent by 5-10 deg. Fahrenheit by sucking air through my tent. I grow in hydro so I think the water evaporation helps cool the tent but with your RH level. Keeping the tent under vacume also keeps the smell in. Lovelaceg has a great suggestion. Some type of swamp cooler/evaporative cooler would work for you. Good luck!
