Cool Mist humidifier or fogger?

Oh…look at the Amazon warehouse deals in the buying options you can snag a like new for $50! That’s a steal. I grab those warehouse deals all the time, stuff is generally new, with a damaged box or something. Sometimes a customer return.

What size is your tent? My 8x4 in my shop I don’t need a humidifier this time of year. But my 4x2 in the house needs one off and on. A one gallon evaporative humidifier works for me IN that tent and only needs refilling every couple days. But the warehouse deal on the “like new” one is the same price as I paid for my one gallon!

I have a ultrasonic fogger from thehouseofhydro. Should I use that or get a Coolmist humidifier? Any product recommentations?

What worked for me is what KDawg said, I got an analog humidifier and an Inkbird controller. I made a mistake and bought a Levoit digital humidifier first and it didn't work with the Inkbird controller. Once the controller cuts off the digital humidifier, it wont cut back on. Has to be old school with just an off and on switch. What I used is below. I'm a noob, but it worked for my situation and others suggested the setup to me. I only had to use mine for half the grow as well.
Death made a good point as to having to refill the things once a day. Can get old, but cheaper to start with if you are on a budget. Make sure to use some form of purified water with any dehumidifier or everything in your tent will be covered in white dust!!!!!! Also, make sure to calibrate any/all sensors you will be using as they will all be different out of the box. I got a Pulse monitor about half way through my first grow as well.

FYI - you can regularly find the inkbird controller on eBay for less. I got an open box one for $20 shipped. Dunno what was open box about it, looked brand new to me. I’m not a cheapskate, I sometimes wish I was. But I’m always on the lookout to save a little on certain things when possible.

Your choice have an mist humidifier and have to clean the charcoal filter prefilter all the time from the fine dust or have an evaporative one and have to change the wicking pad and clean because they tend to get mold and mildew.
That being said I will be putting an evaporative in use for my 4 x 4. I will order a half dozen pads

The link is bad. I think it’s supposed to be:

Seems like tied to the Rainbird, this unit would seem to fit what I need for my lung room.
I currently have the Levoit digital humidifier and it works well. I have to run it in the manual mode with it's humidistat not being accurate at all. At least it's easy to tweak with the phone app, but it does take monitoring.
Wicks seem to be cheap enough not to break the bank.

Just snatched it up.

I have a Honeywell top fill cool mist humidifier for the room and I like that a lot. It is easy to fill, holds lots of water without taking up much space, easy to set the humidity level, and it has lasted a good Tutuapp 9Apps Showbox long while for me.
