Dutch Passion Cookies, Limes and Blackberries - Teetee's tasty Dutch Passion grow

impressive stuff TT, needing to bring more lights in to keep the girls happy is the type of problem that I hope you won't feel too bad about. Once they get into their stride, and especially with a bit of training to open them up a little, these genetics will deliver in abundance. Enjoy the grow, it should be a heavy finish !

@912GreenSkell you're actually doing better.... my day 35 was 70cm.... 28"
Looks like you may have a hedge on your hands Bro!

(just twigged you're on 420)

Oh really!! Damn that makes me very happy!! I hope her momentum keeps up but weather the last few days has been super chilly. Drooping on my cookies, and a bit on my Brooklyn sunrise, but all good on the daiquiri and the pair of auto ultimates.

The Auto Ultimate is a fantastic plant, she takes all sorts of shit... I was cooking mine in the high 30's and you're chilly weather seems to be no problem either!

Yeah, thanks Tony, I'm still waiting on spares for my LEDs, hopefully as its day 54, we're only half way through......... so still time!

Weather shifted again and was warm last night....took around 24hours from the temp shift and the cookies is back in action...nice straight out leaves this morning. SO far only positive things to say about the ultimate. Strong plants, though I had a bit of a task getting mine germinated(took longer than expected, and one came up with the yellowed cotyledon). Yeah no visible negative during the cold stretch at all. Same with the daiquiri...tough, tough plant she is!!

Day 58

G'day from down here, I've been a bit busy with work and family so haven't been able to give my Dames my full undivided attention. So no leaf trimming/lollypopping.... just 5 or so litres of feed daily and a quick peek inside to make sure they're still alive.

They are all well into flower, and were on PK 13/14 last week at EC 1.0, and now they're on nutes, Roots Excel, Microzyme and Top Shooter at EC0.9.... I'm gonna start adding molasses if I can be bothered to make some up.

Here they are, Cookie front left, Blueberry front right, and the enormous Lime at the back....

The Blueberry is tall, with some massive fan leaves....

Her flowers are nice and sparkly and there's a definite blueish colour....
day 58 BB2.JPG

The Cookie is most developed in terms of flowering, smelling lovely and lots of frost but I think she's been overcooked a little, as some of her bigger leaves are turning rusty.... any suggestions? I've raised her light and might drop her feed to 0.8.

Here she is.....

Last but not least, the Lime, still not enough light, but she's going for it, her buds are filling out nicely, she is going to be a monster!
day 58 DL1.JPG

Her main cola is a mass of bud....

I think the lighting issues are part of my lack of enthusiasm, the spares still haven't arrived, so I've ordered some more LED's, 2x Skyline 400W panels..... I can't wait, and hope they come soon to give a boost to the last part of the grow. I can get used to them and be ready for the next grow.

Anyway, thanks for taking a look, more soon!

After chatting with my old mate Autoberry, I decided to take some action with the Cookie yesterday (day 60). Those rusty leaves pointed to two things:

1. EC too high - Top Shooter is strong stuff
2. Cal Mag deficiency - as the lights are on 24/0, the plant is chowing down the Mag

Top Shooter is a flowering stimulator (NPK 0-20-9) that needs to be given in the weeks after doing PK 13-14, at much lower EC..... every grow I've done (except the last one) has had one plant where I've overdone the Top Shooter. :rolleyes1:

When I checked the Top Shooter blurb, it does say it is a very strong agent that requires a lot from your plant. It can cause burn, and they recommend a flush before using it, plus a flush each week while on it. Something I've never done, I must admit.

I flushed the Cookie or 24 hours, initial run of EC was 2.1, but dropped to 0.6 after 20L of EC 0 rainwater.

This morning I mixed up a proper nute mix for Cookie, :stir: (not a watered down version of the feed given to the others)......

EC 0 rainwater with increased Cal Mag, brought upto EC 0.4 with base nutes then the usual additives (Roots Excellurator, Bud XL, Multizyme, Kelp) and a touch of Top Shooter to make EC 0.8.

10L of that was fed to the Cookie and the run off was a consistent EC 0.3, so she's definitely taking up what she needs after a 24 hour flush, and should carry on just nicely!

More next week.

Nicely actioned Teetee Good to see you have the cookie back in full steam mode, im actually thinking of doing my next run all AutoDaquiryLimes in 25l hempy buckets so im keeping a close eye on how your girl progresses, with everything taken into account(light received etc vs previous runs) do you think the lime has the same yield potential as the AU'S? I need something with AU yield and some prime tasting flowers I absolutely like the sound of genetics used in the lime should be a great smoke (caliOrangeXdiesel)

Cheers @MedLion I think the Lime is up there if not, potentially bigger than the Auto Ultimate. I just wish I had the extra lighting to show her off to her best!

More next week.[/QUOTE]
