I have read about something that dealers spray on weed to increase weight. I seem to recall that it looks like tiny white crystals. can anybody tell me what it is?
I had a small bag of weed the other day and i reckon it was tainted.

I don,t, but the little bag it came in has a white coating on it. I am not sure where i read about this thing that they spray, apparently it is tastless and cannot be seen but increases the weight.
Hopefully someone will know and post.

That was what my parents, and Aunts and Uncle said the first time they saw good nugg ! No bullshit. The said quote "I'm not smoking that shit, it's laced with something, look at it you can see it on there".
What you're seeing is trichomes buddy! It's a natural resin made from the bud. It's the plants way of protecting itself and catching pollen.You just don't usually see it on shitty weed with seeds in it. Sometimes it can be so sparkly it looks like glitter. It's not though. It's the good stuff. Look at these buds of mine. I grew them all. None of them are sprayed with anything, ever. They don't even receive any nutrients outside of what's essential (N-P-K). If you put them in a bag though, there would be resin all over the baggie. You would have to peel it off the plastic to get it out of the bag !

I know exactly what trichomes are! The stuff i am talking about is what big commercial dealers sometimes use to up the weight. I read about it some time ago but as i do not usually smoke street weed i didn,t give it much thought. Somebody gave me a small bag and the residue i can see on the inside of the bag is not trichomes.
Somebody will soon post with the answer.

Thank you sanguine, i am not sure which one of the many types of additives that seem to be around were on this weed. I am glad that i grow instead of having to take a chance on street weed.

I'm sorry, lol. I should have asked. It just sounded so close to my old heads reactions and I ran with it!
This thing you guys are talking about is shocking. I feel vain in saying that, but fuck a duck the depths of some folks depravity is seriously shocking!
When I was a kid some Jabroni almost ruined a bunch of us with some swag weed soaked in embalming fluid. My lungs weren't right for years.
We all must have sounded like a TB ward. Luckily that was an isolated incident though.
