Combating the hot humid summer.

Well I'll be the first to admit when I am naive about a topic and RH is one of them. After a couple articles and YouTube videos I think I have a better understanding of the situation. My biggest take away I'd that I'm over thinking it/overly concerned.
Well I'm no expert on the whole vpd chart. I am just finishing my 3rd indoor grow.

I grew outside for years and finally made the change to get rid of unwanted contaminates such as pollen and dust. Also I had yearly battles with spidermites which was a giant pain in the as$. Had a couple rounds with aphids as well.

It was a big change going from outside and organic, to inside and I made the change to salt based nutes because I just had to try it.

The biggest thing I figured, since my RH stays kinda high for flower at 60%, is to run the tent warmer to offset it. If it is hotter, the air can hold more moisture, when it is colder it holds less. So when you RH is high, if you raise the heat, it will hold more H²0, which in turn, reduces the H²0 your buds will soak up, which can cause the bud rot..

If your temps are on the colder side, low 70's upper 60's, then you really have to watch the high RH levels during flower.

Nice to meet you by the way bro. I enjoy a good chat from a fellow stoner!! :baked: :pass::baked::rofl:

This is such a great break down of the situation. Thanks for the simple explanation dude. I grew outdoors when I was a teen and did a few indoor runs years ago but didn't pay much attention to details back then. Just a punk kid trying to get stoned lol. Tag me in any of your grows. Would love to see what you got going on.
