Mephisto Genetics Coffee Monster brews some Mephisto with an Amare SolarPRO 400

Mixed the foliar and sprayed all the larger girls, turned the cobs off leaving the mono's on til lights out and watered the girls with the remaining mix, had given them plain water plus recharge earlier tonight
The plants quit eating at lights out

New growth? Crap, was suspecting that would be the case... they're well into flower now so I'll just have to look for a cessation of symptoms and go from there. Definitely doing some learning here. I didn't have this issue on my first grow but I wasn't running Mephisto or a high powered cob then either. I think the cob's are probably the biggest factor.

Double crap on the girls stopping eating! Well the monos are potent enough to veg girls up to six inches by themselves and I just flipped the cobs back on for their last half hour of light so hopefully I'll be ok.

I'm not sure how this rep stuff works but your helps been invaluable Ripper!

That is what we do here bud.. and as far as growing you will learn something new every grow.

Decided after doing some research today it is much more a mag deficiency then a calcium deficiency
Gave the most affected three big girls some epsom salt in water, now I'm gonna sit on my hands til I see what they're gonna do or their pots get dry

This is a great article.

Coffee monster you will see things happening under the Amare you won't see in other lights. 93cri and the fullest spectrum that I'm aware of in these lights as well as intensity. You are essentially supercharging them with this light. They will grow so much larger and faster and that's the reason for the calmag. It does take a few runs to get used to the lights and how the garden reacts. In the meantime take it easy and let them do their thing. I say this because I used to stress big time and always ran to Victor for advice lol.

@Coffee Monster, we recommend supplementing with calmag throughout the grow, due to the increased photosynthesis rate from our full spectrum and intensity. The 5w mono's delivers about the same intensity as a 600mh/hps and will veg them all the way to flower. You can; however, flip the COBs on when they're 6"+ to supercharge growth or in autos case, flowering.

BigSmO, that's exactly what I'm runnin into

Ripper, probably shoulda asked for input first, never done foliar before and not sure how long the foliar of cal mag I gave them last nite lasts for lack of a better way to put it. If you recommend it I'll hit the girls with some epsom salt foliar but my gut tells me to wait a few days and see how they respond to the combo of cal mag foliar and cal mag plus epsom watered in

@AMARE-TECH-Vic great to see you here, I was supplementing but apparently at too low a level
I am still lovin this light, BigSmO was right to point me your direction
