Mephisto Genetics Coffee Monster brews some Mephisto with an Amare SolarPRO 400

We share a lot of the same things bro. Amare is number one. I run between 3 and 5 of their panels at one time. You will love it trust me.

I also don't count days. They flower and finish when ever they want. Marking a calendar has never grown better plants for me lol.

Something that I really want to make a thread about is the importance of training. To keep the light optimal distance from the plant your lower sections suffer big time. With training you pull the top of the plant over (without hurting it) within a few hours the main branch will turn towards the light too. Now the top of your plant is much farther away from the light meaning you can now lower the light down and the whole plant will recieve more light and intensity. Also many more side branches will pop out creating multiple tops which is always great too. I have grown very few plants with training, the outcome of training can bring as much as 50% more yield in my situation.

I'm hearing you BigSm0, I think my canopy would've been more even if I hadn't decided I just had to try Grape Crinkle and having plants at different ages hasn't helped either... I'm considering LST, haven't seen much mention of it in your Hubbabubba journals but I assume you've been doing that? I did get wild one night and supercropped the Grape Crinkle but she just popped her tip back up in a day or so and healed the spot where I accidentally broke her skin... not sure what I did wrong there, but I was so grateful I didn't hurt her badly that I just let her do her own thing after that. I have started in the last week or two selectively defoliating a leaf or two after studying each girl to see if I can spot a leaf that's blocking light to the lower buds. Being a member of Over-waterers Anon and Over-nuters Anon I've been trying to watch that. Doing better with the watering but I believe I'm on the edge of N tox and nute burn with some of the girls. This Amare puts out so much potent light I'm afraid of getting it too close to the girls and now I've got seedlings in there... speaking of which, the mystery girl is above ground... pics soon... BigSm0 may be the first to guess what strain I germed alongside the SODK

Great to see you guys here! :smokeout:

Hmm maybe a hubbabubba?

Not sure if you followed along while I had the Amare thread but things were pretty crazy with the prior run, plants were chopped a little early and it wasn't by me. Yes I lst all the way till they hit the scrog and continue to bend and tuck branches. I'll do a good write up with pictures this time. I spent some time talking with Vic about the lights on spectrum and intensity. Calmag and lots of it seems to be the consensus. These plants under these lights grow like crazy and they need the extra boost.

I'm excited to see how things work out for you.

You win the prize BigSm0, my new baby was above ground when I got home from work today - Hubbabubba!

And preceded by a day or two, my other baby, SODK, is already leaning into the light

This frost is just killer on the Grape Crinkle, wish all my girls were like this!

I caught what those mother feckers did BigSm0, and now that you mention it the SCROG, I don't recall the LST so much, maybe it's all the Sour D I've been enjoying from my first grow lol
I've been slipping some of my cal mag in most feedings and waterings, trying to be proactive, and I saw how much the increased cal mag helped your girls... I'm tryin to do sort of a semi-perpetual grow and transition from the smaller girls to bigger girls, only planning on growing the two as the smaller girls meet the axe to try to give them plenty of room (like you said in one of your threads recently about fewer bigger girls being the better way to go.)

Great to see you join us iampepe! Someone pass one over to him quick - :smokeout:
