Lighting Cobshop.net info, questions and answers

I have a 4x4 tent, I have not a clue about COBS, I am new at this. Currently using a 600 watt led. Not happy with it. How many and how much for that 4x4 space. Thank you

I personally like the oil field heaters myself. They hold a bit of heat for a longer time after they shut down and usually don’t get as hot to the touch as most infrared heaters. You never know how close a leave will grow towards it. Titan controls sells a thermostat outlet that I have used for a couple years now with success but they are more expensive than a new heater would be.

Your 600 watt led depending on the brand is probably similar to 2 Autocobs. Your drawing more energy powering it as well. For the 4x4 space 4-5 cobs would be ideal. 4 cob special at cobshop.net is 499 and 465 after the current discount. You could also buy them 1 or 2 at a time and supplement the led you have if you are on a budget.

Little confused, I can or can not use cobs in a tent. If I can by what your saying I would have to use the more expensive ones. How much would a 4 cob cost then

You definitely can use 'em in a tent - tons of us are doing so at this very moment with very nice results.

What 'Sm0 was saying is that for a 4x4 tent he recommends 4-5 cobs. He sells a 4-pack for $499, which is like $465 right now with a promo discount. Or, you can buy 'em individually and use them as a supplement to your current lighting if you can't/don't want to drop the money for a 4-pack right off the bat.
