My current grow with closer to canopy Autocobs is doing very well indeed. Two of the older plants are about 15" inches from canopy. The younger two are 22" and 27" and will get much lower as they mature. Health is tip top, so I am happy. Only one plant has some canoeing and that's it. I started chasing ppm/ec with this grow.

While waiting for the Jack-Matic to germ, the other plants under reflectors for veg are all doing very well. I think it was BigSm0 who recently said he is letting the plants grow to the Autocobs and that is working so far. From a 30" start, one is at 22" with no problems. The 3 Bears OG under two Autocobs is just a seedling and is humming along nicely. I bought a Bluelabs Truncheon as I am apparently going to start chasing ec/ppm.

I think this works well since the plants gradually being eased into the pain of AutoCob intensity. Don’t beat your self up over the white widow. This is the curse of the auto. Not locking in these pheno types we want is my reasoning. I had 2 plants grown exactly the same. One is huge, purple, and smells like diesel and the other foxtailed terribly and barely produced a solid bud.

@Need4Weed im growing 2 avt now and don’t think the pair will meet 1/2 lb. just crazy !

Ahhh! Russians!...

I think you'll be fine with 2 ea... I'm currently running 1 sour livers that's in preflower' and have 5 X View attachment 914721 1 week olds going... currently the big girl is topped and trained to almost 3 feet, directly under all 4 cobs @ 50w ea.

3 of the 4 plants are growing particularly well. The second youngest 3 Bears OG with 2 Autocobs each is very fat/thick, but somewhat short and in great health. Light distance is 16". The youngest Jack-Matic with 2 Autocobs is having some trouble and probably won't be any great shakes. Light distance at 18". Single Autocob over the Industrial Plant is the oldest and should net a fine yield. Light distance is 12". The second oldest Mamba Negra single Autocob is quite huge. I feel it should break my ounces record if the health stays. Light distance at 13". I'm hoping to drop all distances to 10".

Chasing ppm/ec seems to be working out well with health in general. I can really see just how under fed my previous plants were.

I harvested the Dinafem Industrial plant today and it had big buds. Light distance was 10" for most of July. I decided to harvest with mostly cloudy and clear trichomes this time.
The Blimburn Mamba Negra is at 10" and continues doing very well. Maybe 2 weeks left for that plant. I am excited for the Mamba Negra and what it will yield. It should break (I hope shatters) my ounces record. It is a big big lady.
The 3 Bears OG should be a very nice yield too. Light is at 10" and has several weeks yet.
The Jack-Matic continues with problems and the yield will be nominal. That light is 13" and has several weeks to go as well.

The two plants harvested to this point shrunk up more than "Grandpa sitting in a bath tub of ice". The Industrial plant was only 2 ounces dry and the Mamba Negra which I thought would break my ounces record, wasn't close and came in at 3 ounces. The shrinking the shrinking, oh god the shrinking.
The 3 Bears OG will likely be around 3 ounces and that harvest is very close. It carries heavy buds. The Jack-Matic will be a minimal harvest. It continued being problematic from start. Those two were 10" from canopy.
I will be using the reflectors for veg for all plants in future.

Just finished jarring 3 Bears OG and got over 3 ounces. The buds temps were consistently 78-80. The other plants too. I kept forgetting to log that info.

I am under way with four more strains. Two will get two Autocobs each, two will get one Autocob each. Royal Queen Stress Killer CBD and Greenhouse Exodus Cheese CBD under the two lights each.
Royal Queen Dinafem Haze CBD and Mephisto Skystomper under one light each.

Once again the Stress Killer is debilitated in the early going. Exactly like the last grow. I don't think it likes two Autocobs peering over her, but I'm letting it go anyway. Want to see if it exhibits the same through the whole grow. Later I will grow one under one Autocob to see how that unfolds.

The Stress Killer has continued to exhibit (began stunted) the same problems through this grow as the last one that had two Autocobs over it. Next Stress Killer will get one Autocob and I am very curious to see if it will make any difference. Light is currently at 13". The Exodus Cheese CBD will be a decent harvest. Lights at 14". Approx. two more weeks to go for that one. Skystomper is healthy and doing quite well. Light at 13".
