Okay cober's I have one of those questions !!! What is the maximum and the minimum coverage of one cob light . What I'm getting at is this . How many plants would you put under one cob ??? And yes take in the height factor . Don't be shy now I need to know . :toke:
It depends on what your growing short or tall and how u train them but on most cobs you can usually put 2 small plants @bigSmO he's the best of the best with cobs

One big plant. I think typical good coverage is 18 x 18 inches. Bigsm0 does have the best technical data on them

16” x 16” very well and 24” x 24” max coverage

2 plants per light is best.

If memory serves me right from the last time I asked bigsm0

Growmau5 and other well respected DIY builders recommend 1 cob per square foot @ 24" to 30" above the canopy.

The coverage and distance to canopy requirement of each COB depends on the size and how hard you drive them. Other factors to consider, including lenses, reflectors and strain can also determine the distance requirement and coverage. Autos tend to require less intensity in our experience.

The question is similar to asking how long is a rope but some point of reference is helpful without being too scientific.

@Prophetiko @Slater mid week update:

The plant looks ready but the trichomes say wait. So it looks like I will start the flush Saturday for a harvest on next Tuesday.

Looks like I have arrived just in time for the end... so so sorry for running out on you guys and girls but my life got in the way (I had another book release) and I needed to get my head down... got to feed the family. But that's all slowing down now and I can get beck to my AFN love (that sounds wrong)... who wants to give me the low down, who's in ? who's out ? and has it got dirty yet with all the fighting ?

What this a literary person in our midst !!!! I haven't a clue who's in or who's out .Gauge Steel hasn't been around in a while for one . I'm still in . Maybe buy the week end people will declare their intention . :thumbsup: I posed a question on COB lighting which appears to have only added further questions . :nono: Like " how long is my rope ?? " :shrug:

super awesome tent... totally agree on the light spacing but it really comes down to how hard you drive them... I've made the best I could do with my new set up of 8 x1212 at 1050ma (5 @ 3000k and 3 @ 4000k) in a 4 x 3 tent.
