Tangwena! Glad to hear from you. It has been a while since I’ve read any of your postings. It is good to hear you are well and enjoying your fishing camp.
Hecno told me he had invited a friend on but I had no idea. Lol
I’ve been cob curing for a couple years now
and love chewing and smoking it. I just cobbed up a little over a pound and will share pics and discuss when you get back.
Yes I would dry them so they feel dry to the touch on the outside.
Then put them back at 30c to cure.
I'd say you have got them moving now being slow and gentle from here on will pay off I'm sure.
I did that and 24h later there's more moisture in the bag than during the initial sweat... not sure why ?
So I opened the bag and dried the inside as well as the cobs.
But I don't know if I should continue the cure at 30°C and let the bag closed for a few more days, even if I see more moisture spreading in the bag ?

That looks done already it was probably too wet to start with dry it slowly or you will loose the terps.
The art in this cure is to keep the new terp profile if you can do that your on a winner.
If the terps are good the high will be to.

Thank you for your advice !
So I guess I should revac and cure at ambiant temp ?
Then open once a week, dry etc.. for a month.
It's fun to make but I feel a bit anxious because I don't want to f*ck it up haha !

No you haven't yet but you could you dont want anymore changes it looks great as is,
Just SLOW dry it to preserve the terps and taste.
I like the look of the cob the dark ones can be awesome highs depending on the strength of the plant used to make them.
