Chronic Pain Patients, What Strains Work Best for You?

All KVS I have is 2012 stock, so no worries about mutant, non auto-ing stock in my tent! I just did a multi pot with 3 regs in one pot and 3 females in their own pot, hoping for a male or two, but wouldn't you know it, all 3 females, BUT, dont worry, I'll get a male or two next run!

I dub it "Throwback" or "Vintage" KVS... :)

I'd love to get my hands on some KVS to do more breeding with. And I just sampled my Dragon Kush and Wooooooo! Two hits on my vaporizer and I'm pleasantly stoned!! The nice thing about a vaporizer is, it doesn't care if your weed is dry or not, if its fresh or well aged either. In fact, I'm enjoying the taste of fresh bud! First hit or two is loaded with terpenes and tatses wonderful.

How is it for pain? I have to imagine it's pretty proficient.

Thanks everyone that has contributed so far to this thread, when and if more people chime in on strains that work for them I will compile a list.

]Royal Queen's Northern Lights Auto was decent for pain with a decent balance in terms of not being too couch lock. The best med I've found so far is Bluestone which is a Dragon Cross.
Thanks so much for your input Medi, and for the reps+. I have yet to try straight Northern Lights, I need to though, as I have both some photo and auto seeds. Think I may go head and get some Bluestones soaking in the morning.

"GREEN DRAGON" tincture made from 90 day old "BLACK DRAGON" be careful!
GA6, I am doing some "Green Dragon" tincture that I made with some Stone Reds that I let go for 120+ days. It seems like I have read that many folks believe that Black Dragon is probably the most potent Dragon to date. Sure would like to get my hands on some beans at some point.

First time I made and did some "Green Dragon" tincture, I definitely found out that you do indeed need TO BE Careful! I titrated a bit too much, and I was having a very intense out of the body experience, and felt like I was floating when I walked for several hours.
I to deal with back pain l2 and l3 buldging with l4 ruptured and old Author-Itis in 80% of my body.
Frost Dragon's at as long as you can let it go is a big help
!

Sorry to hear that you suffer from some of the same ailments that I do GA6. I don't have any pure Frost Dragon beans, I do however have (Frost Dragon x White Domina). Think I will get some of those going as well here shortly.

Pop, thanks for sharing that sweet picture of your "Dragon Kush" Hope it helps you big.

I love tinctures and medibles over smoking, just due to the body numbing effect. Tinctures are my goto. I dont like smoking/vaping as much. Testing out "Magic Honey" for the ultimate pain med for myself is a great way to go.
Briman, thanks to you for your input as well. I too almost always only use tincture and medibles. It has probably been well over a month since I have smoked any. I have a nice vaporizer as well, but it just does not do anything for me. I have yet to make any tincture with glycerin, as I have found that "Green Dragon " tincture works VERY well for me, as long as I don't over titrateLOL. I use Coconut Oil infused Cannabis that I make Canna Caps out of, and use those daily. (I have several different strains made up), along with the tincture. Can you tell me about your "Magic Honey"? Sounds very interesting.

Oh my god, Stick...

MOB x GDP
Blueberry x GDP
Bubba Kush x Fire99
(Cherry) Slider x Deep Chunk
MOB x GDP must be like Jennifer Connelly or Kate Beckinsale, so hot that it's actually difficult/painful to look directly at her.

Trap, both the MOB x GDP and the (Cherry) Slider x Deep Chunk are the standouts right now in my flower room. Both are the nicest looking, indoor photos I have grown to date, which ain't saying much. The aromatics when I walk in there, are incredible. Blueberrys, and Cherry are the predominate smells emanating from the girls.

Just chopped a Hindu Kush x C99, that was C99 dominant (That nice Bros Grimm C99 Pineapple pheno). I have a good feeling that this will probably be some good day time meds. I will report back when testing has been done.

We talked earlier in the thread about Cheese strains. I just put into the flower room tonight a Pineapple Chunk, which is (Cheese x Pineapple). Also found a couple of other Cheese x photo strains in my bean tin. (Afgooey x Cheese) and (Cherry OG x Cheese). So many strains to test.

I will start working with some extensively tested CBD rich strains. I have been in contact with 2 different brothers who make oil for children with severe epileptic seizures in both Washington State and Colorado. The brother from Wa, was doing some testing with MNS's Z6 strain a few years ago. He came across a pheno that has been tested extensively, and continues to get 9% + CBD and less than 1% THC. He lives on the other side of the state, and we are going to meet half way in between, so that he can gift me some clones in couple of weeks. The brother from CO. will be sending me some beans shortly. These are important strains for me, as my wife can not tolerate any THC, but suffers severely from Chronic Pain as well. I know that several of the seed banks are touting higher numbers on the % of CBD, but I have found through much research that it is marketing BS overall. So it will be nice to working with some known high CBD phenos. I will keep you all posted as time goes on with these.

I will however be crossing these with some high THC strains for making RSO.

Thanks again all, for your input.

Best 2 Strains ive had agains Pain, and i have chronic Back Pain from a Working Accident back in the Days, are Big Buddha Cheese and Kosher Kush. The Big Buddha is also recoommend if You have Muscle Spasm and pain from that, as it relaxes the whole Muscle system after a few Tokes. A mate of mine who has a Chronic Pain in the Spine says Kush.....no matter what but Kush is top against Pain.

Trapper, we vaped some last night. I've decided that I want to get 1 or 2 other people to sample it because I don't want to sound like I'm bragging, hell, I just got lucky with the cross. But I swear my impression from last night is, its the second most potent weed I've ever smoked. Can't tell you yet on pain relief, we were too stoned to even care....lol!

hey! I wanted to clarify that the Dragon Kish I'm vaping is not from the plant in the pic. I had one growing in DWC that was damaged by the ph being way off. The main bud was so so, and the rest werew justr little airy wisps that looked like single calxes ..... weird. So if that was so kickass, I'm almost afraid to smoke that other beautiful plant......lol!~

Hello...I have a really bad neck injury and have dealt with 24/7 pain since 2002. To date ive never found an ideal strain so I am still looking. I have found DNA kosher worked pretty well as did Dutch passion blueberry. Grows are to be done outdoors and I am looking for particular auto strains that'll do well outside. Thanks for any suggestions.
Edit- they don't have to be autoflowering strains but they do have to finish Oct 1st or before. This year autos being tried is Sweet Seeds dark devil(currently at 59 days...getting close to being done), Biohazard Auto Power(currently at 45 days), and Barneys Farm Auto blue mammoth. I accidently broke the main stalk on the Auto power while gently tying it down which was heartbreaking, still the secondary branches will at least get a few testers to see if its any good. The Auto blue mammoth is ummm not autoflowering. Its about 3' high and growing. Noticed slight preflower last week and now it seems to be slowly starting to stack up.

I have found that any genetics with with DJ Short's Blueberry to be very affective for me, as well as anything with HighRises' MOB (Maine's Own Blueberry) in it.

For Full autos strains, I have found the Dragon Strains to be very affective as well for my spinal injuries.

There are MANY fine fast finishing medical photo strains that yield very well, and finish before Oct 1st. I also need strains that finish before then.

Right now I am growing some Kaos Kreation's- Violet Dreamz (Blue Dream x Purple Kush Auto) outdoors. I believe this may be a great pain relieving strain.

I have yet to grow any of Sweet Seeds gear, but I hear nothing but great things about their gear. Actually I do have some crosses with their genetics in them now that I think about it.

That is actually great news that your Auto blue mammoth is not autoflowering. Its about 3' high and growing. Noticed slight preflower last week and now it seems to be slowly starting to stack up. If it is pre flowering by now, it will certainly finish for you.

Peace.

I've been looking at "Anesthesia" as a possible pain relief strain, but so far I haven't seen any beans offered in an autoflowering strain. Has anybody tried the photo strain? And if so, what did you think of it as a pain reliever?
