Today is Oct 18, 2018.
They are 23 days old.

Yesterday as I mentioned I put 12 Liters in the rez. I used 11.47 grams of Mega Crop and this lowered the PH from 8.1 to 6.3. I did not need to make any adjustment of the PH. This is nice. The EC/500 was 550. I had two ladies who were a little on the lighter lime green. This morning they were turning a darker shade of green. So nice to see the greening of these two ladies.

Today the rez was down to about 3 liters so I refilled the rez. I again used 12 liter with 11.48 grams of MC. The PH adjusted to 6.5 by itself and the EC/500 was 510.

They have taken off. I still have 2 ladies that are not as large as the others but I can see the growth. This is an exciting time to watch them.

The light is 40" from the top of the coco and is on 100% vegetative. The light is also on the controller. This acts as a timer and you can control all aspects of the lighting. There are both UV and Ultra red diodes. The light has white, red and blue spectrums that can be controlled to have a simulation of sunrise and sunset. A last I do not use this function.

Next pics will be on Tuesday 23 when they will be 4 weeks old. Thanks for dropping in.

Sounds like they are doing well. Looking forward to the update.

Let me start and finish with the words: God I think I have it dialed in !!!!! The growth I have seen is totally beyond my expectations for the past week. The air domes and rez were turned on at week 3 and they took off. The ladies are 6" to 10" tall. Side bar: here is a AFN link to a "test" run by the members of AFN and Auto Pot. They are using it for the first time https://www.autoflower.org/threads/afn-communal-autopot-test-summer-2018.66867/page-71

I am a total believer in Mega Crop also. The only thing I changed for this grow were the nutes. I had great results with Advanced Nutrients but it was expensive and I was using 6 different bottles for the entire run plus Cal/Mg and Terpinator. MC is simple and I am using only 5 grams per 12 Liter ( about 3 gallons).

I am still quarter-turning each pot on every visit to the tent. The ChilLED Tech light is on Veg and is 40" from the top of the coco. The ladies are drinking away. I will need to fill the rez with 12 liters in a few days. The humidity is 58% - 83% and temps are steady between 75 and 79 F. Two ladies were telling me they needed more nutes last week as they were a lighter lime green. Today they all look like they were grown on the Dingle peninsula in Republic of Ireland County Kerry.

Hell yeah man! Looking fantastic.

I’m waiting for my Autocobs and MC to get here. Everything else is ready and waiting. Can’t wait to join in on the adventure!

Any issues maintaining PH in the rez? Are you using RO or tap water?

I bet you could up the feed to 2g/gal now..... looks like they are ready for it. What’s the ppm or ec of your current mix and what does your ph come out at after mixing?

I do not EVER check the PH in the rez. Quote from pop22 "I see no more than a .2 drift in ph with megacrop. not an amount to fuss over. Saw a lot more than that with other nutes! Last grow I never even bothered to check the res ph, it just wasn't needed. IMO, it seems from my experience that messing with RES ph causes more problems than actually exist. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"
I only fill my rez with 12 liters, a little over 3 gals. I use this quantity as it gets too heavy to pour any larger amount into the rez for me . Also I have found that the rez is good for approximately 5-7 days with the 12 liters. I have an in home water softener so the water is 0.00 EC and the PH is 8.4 - 9.7. With the Mega Crop I am following @pop22 process. He wants the EC not to go over 500-525 EC and the PH he maintains is 6.5. So after I add my MC to the 12 liters it comes out naturally to 6.3 - 6.5. This is at 3.62 gram per gallon or 0.96 gram per liter.

This is all based on my 12 liter I start with and how much my light draws water from the ladies.

Nice to see my method working for you! What medium are you growing in?
