Grow Mediums Fast Buds and Sweet Seeds

Anything over 3 and I'll be relieved but 4 would be my hope. I ask all this because to me I just can't see it doing what I had hoped, I was expecting it to have some flower tufts all over it by now. I was having a look at some grows on crow diaries site (crow should begin with a g but if I do that it gets turned into an autoflower link wtf is that all about) and I've seen some impressive looking healthy plants with tiny yields like an oz and a bit which has given me the horrors. What puzzles me is the some of the main branches look similar from the top as some of their side shoots, I can see 16 tops and eight are the main branches. Should the main ones begin to show themselves or have all the side branches that have now been allow to come up stop the main ones from acting like main branches. I'm a little bit worried that maybe I should not have trained it flat but let the branches come straight out at a 45º angle. Have I made a blunder here? Next grow will be two girls. But yes, my intention for the next week is to basically do nothing.

Well seeing as you have had a wide range of results you'd have some experience of what each plant looked like at what stage, I'm guessing something must have not been right with the LSD and something must have worked out very well with the Crack. Looking down on my girl she fills about a 14 x 14 inch square and is about 7 inches to the canopy. All the nodes fit into 1.5 inches, and the trunk is another 2 inches.

I do not have the foggiest clue what's going to happen now. There's not much more I can do. In my minds eye it will stretch up to make 8 main colas and as many smaller ones. That's the plan/hope but the best laid plans etc... So from your personal experience if you had to guess the final harvest and your life depended on it. What would you think. Or put it another way, if this was one of your plants in a pot and it looked like this from your previous grows what would you expect this to yield. Be brutally honest.
One more thing ... EVERY seed is unique. The LSD-25 was a beautiful lady so petite and well shaped. She just was not large, she was only 12" tall but a great smoke. NO one can say how much your lady will produce this is the joy of growing.

This is all about part of the learning process. Every plant is different. If you started training too late the buds may form differently as they grow along the stem where they would have been just part of a main cola. Don't worry it will still give you all it can based an three things: 1. Genetics 2. Style of growing which includes size of pot, media and nutrients used. and 3. amount of light PPFD/DLI. For most indoor growers this is the most limiting factor. New growers are lucky to get 1 gram per actual watt (at the wall). Experienced growers can get 1.5 g/watt or more.

As I saw she will be great. Everything looks good to me. You have set her up to produce. Now just keep the ph constant and do not over feed her. You can always add more. But to me she is where she should be.

Also it is not good to compare yourself to another grower/s. There is not point. You have to learn what your set up can do so you need to dial it in. That means 2-3 more grows. I would not change anything next time. Just repeat and see how you can listen to your ladies. :dancer:

Relax and wait, which is hard to do. You are on track. :baby:

You nailed it. MOG :astar::astar::astar::astar::astar::astar:

I was joking but now that you've said that you have reminded me of when I was in London in the mid 70's, I went to a large party and I do love a smoke and I had some very high quality weed, which you didn't often see in London in those days, mainly you'd see hash Red Leb from Lebanon, Green sandy hash from Morocco that could either be fantastic or rubbish, and Afghani Black, but the best was Nepalese boiled hash or Temple balls and Kashmiri twist. This though was Jamaican weed, and was as strong as the strongest genuine Thai Buddha I've ever had. Well I smoked about half a J and, I got a whitey, I sat down and couldn't move, I couldn't talk. I went to go home when I felt able to move, but I just got to the end of the street and had to sit on a step. Two cops came over to ask if I was OK, I said yeah, and just sat there for another hour.

Heh heh, I'm like Mossy's lesser half, a lightweight when it comes to smoke. The wife's the heavyweight in this household.
Now those hashish strains, remember them all from about the same timeframes in Atlanta. Blonde Lebanese was one of my favorites, mainly because it was hard to get the Nepalese Temple Hash. The Green Moroccan I got was always greasy & top shelf. But the one that was waaaayyy above top shelf I can't even remember where it was from. But it was opiated... oh yeah, made you understand Edgar Allan Poe a bit more clearly, at least between the hallucinations.
Probably a good thing it was so rare.
Love me some good hash... found a couple of year old stash yesterday, had a bit and eventually nodded off. Time for another vape pen full a little later tonight.
@Mossy keep that wet flannel handy in case you see me wandering around aimlessly :haha:

Thanks man.
Hmmm... if I remember correctly this girl yielded (give or take) 5 oz. of dank. It's been awhile so I don't remember exactly.

As for yield, it definitely varies on the strain, and environment provided. I've had one produce 9.5 oz (personal best so far) and have had one just yield 10 grams.

Overall, just make sure you have enough space to accommodate just in case one blows up on you.

Here's a pic of what we have going on now. In the back is forgotten cookies. As of today she is a massive 36 inches, and still growing!
That is some very impressive looking produce. I would be interested to know what your average yield from the average autoflower in your DWC. I'm just trying to get a rough idea of what I might expect.

No Pobs @Olde School Player ....it is a very simple solution..even if it is not normally appreciated at the time...

First time I saw Hubby having one...I nearly called an ambulance.....:crying:...he has been known to over act..:crying:

All of us men can over act. It is in our job description, I do believe,
