Indoor Carbon filter question

Looks quite effective, I'm going to position it high, it will make running duct easier.

I just need some kind of vent cover now, needs to cover the fan which will vent into
room.:pass:

I vent mine into the attic.
You may want to think about putting the fan on the filter. That way the duct work acts to quiet the fan

I always thought pushing out worked, but nowhere near as good as pulling through, which is what I do.
if you think about it the carbon in the filter catches all the smells and dust and other stuff that could be in your room. if you PUSH air through it it wont work properly, but if you PULL the smelly air into the filter and over the carbon it removes the smell and you will only vent the hot air into your attic/outside and not any of the smells

If you going to vent it outside your house put a T in your dryer vent.

I hear what U guys are saying, but can't vent into attic, townhouse living. but venting back into man cave type room
is doable. These lights don't create to much heat

that should be fine bro. there was a thread on here a while back that i always keep mind of, it showed the setup of a carbon filter and extraction fan. something like this will work fine carbon filter-------extraction fan--------vent

Will keep the smell down too :muahaha: I like stinky buds

Thanks man, I was thinking of going other direction, but placing filter, ducting and venting should
be effective, and look better if I can find a proper vent cover for a 4" fan.

Build a small duct box then steath it to look like a heater vent
