I am needing to install a Carbon Filter and also need to vent
a little excess heat created by adding an additional Mars 144x5.

The extra light is causing my closet which is 2x5 by 8 ft to get
to 93 F.

I was thinking of venting from top and pushing exaust to a Carbon
Filter sitting on floor outside closet.

My question is would it work better to pull to air, or push it thru filter.

Thanks, in advance, have some OG KUSH and Swiss Cheese girls needing
a little relief.

hey arsenick, the carbon filter and extraction fan are designed to have air pulled through the carbon filter to remove hot/stale and stinky air from your room so i wouldn't push air through it as it wont work correctly, also i would vent from the bottom to have fresh air pulled into the room and have the carbon filter up high as hot air rises

I have been moving my filter up, started with it on the ground, moved it onto a 5 gal bucket. Right now it's on three of them. After this grow its going to be hung, hot air rises. You will be much happier hanging it.

I always thought pushing out worked, but nowhere near as good as pulling through, which is what I do.

Thanks guys, I have to figure how to get the filter near ceiling and vent out.

The filter box says it weights 3.6 kg

Mines tied to the top of my tent with the straps supplied but if I had to do it fresh I'd use big hooks screwed in and bungee cords. For peace of mind make it tight.

I hear you, I was thinking of building a shelf to set it on high in closet, then running duct to in-line
fan which will vent to outside. Think this is do able?

I am going to use a light hanger looped around mine. Good luck!
Would take a picture of mine, but you can only see the filter and fan now, big green plants in the way of the rest of the set up
