No problem herbal!! Yep just like this but with water in the pan obviously.. i think i did it in a bigger pot though so the cup was semi floating. also i did stir quite occasionally because i wasnt quite sure which setting on my old stove would be appropriate.

OK... Just made some :edible: :tinct: pills from Bluebonic Guerilla Gold from highrise.... 40 grams mostly bud...
30 minute oven time @ 280 deg F Decarbopxylation.... ---->
then into green dragon in 190 proof grain alcohol...

then I evaporated the alcohol levels down to 1/4 original volume... performed titration and recieved a pretty durn good buzz @ 2.00 ml

so I reduced the volume in 1/2 again... and made coco oil soy letithin pills... more info to come...



just took 4 caps because I've been testing (titration) a lot lately and am a bit on the tolerant side to cannibinoids..

Well, the trick is going over 172.4 (boiling pt alcohol) after micing with the oil.... I cant seem to get potency to hold... gotta work that out still... we'll get it nom worries mate..

is decarbing necessary for making the thc pills?!

i keep getting mix infos (to decarb or not to decarb -- that is the question) lol.

herbal, what's up man. You definitely want to decarb since the pills will be using an alcohol base, the increased THC absorption is what makes it such an efficient method. Check these threads out for the perfect decarb temp and time as well as WHY decarb is so important.

Decarboxylation Details:

There are carboxyl-group containing cannabinoids like cannabigerolic acid, cannabidiolic acid, which is an oxidocyclized version of cannabigerolic acid, and tetrahydrocannabinolic acid, that when they lose thier respective carboxyl group, become psychoactive.

Although all the pharmacologic literature I've read has focused on THCa, CBDa and CBGa, there are more phytocannabinoids that have a carboxyl group in them - who, after being decarboxylated - become psychoactive compounds. Nothing has shown CC's (carboxyl cannabinoids) to potentiate recreational use more then the same phytocannabinoids would as decarboxylated compounds. THIS is why you decarboxylate, to convert your THCa, CBDa, and CBGa all into non-acid forms, our beloved psychoactive compounds. So now that you know why to decarboxylate, here's how:

i guess im just scared to over decarb and lose all the thc/cbd etc.

still got a while before this harvest -- so im still researching everything i can.

but with a broken oven -- it looks like i will have to try the microwave method.

unless the oven is fixed (or a new one is in placed) when harvest comes.
