No it is not food grade, the 99% is good for ISO hash as long as you purge it completely. But it is not good to consume.

As far as I know, food grade alcohol is any alcohol you can drink or in some other cases, eat. As a Chef, I vouch for these alcohols.

was wondering if it would be okay to use along with the coconut capsules

Heres How mine turned out, i just sucked it up with a syringe and put on a plate and let cool in the fridge, very easy to work with could even slide the caps on the plate to scoop up your desired dosage, i took one for the first time today when i went to work. Success. Very smooth but intense long lasting high, cant wait to try two and three!! :edible: im actually going to start medicating this way as i have an 3 year ongoing issue that the doctors cant figure out with my body. Relieved pain very well.

I'm struggling to find food grade coconut oil locally.
i do however find litres of the stuff used for hair care,but with no additional ingredients i can see...can this be used for the caps?

in the us kroger has it in their healthfood section
and you might try healthfood or vitamin stored or pharmacy. there are many more uses than canna, so asking for it should raise no questions

dont get me wrong -- but shouldnt the end product be a bit darker? (what i got from the article etc)

did you use the crockpot or the stove top method?

how long did the cooking take?

i am very interested in this so im taking as much info as possible.

i did the stove top with a measuring cup inside a small cooking pot, i let it sit for an hour 45, made with keif from my old cali connection from the bottom of my four tier grinder, the keif was super blond maybe thats the reason for the lighter color? there was residue left still at the end of cooking that syringe could not get, scraped and dumped in the middle of that plate.. gonna prepare one meow that were talking about it.

i probably wont be doing this until next month or so (harvest) -- just preparing for when that time comes.

just a couple more questions if you dont mind

stove top set up = pan with water (boiling/seamering) then another container thats not touching the water ofcourse (with oil + ganja mix) correct?

were you mixing for those 45 minutes? or just stirred on occasion?

the blonde kief might have something to do with the color -- still looks nice tho.

No problem herbal!! Yep just like this but with water in the pan obviously.. i think i did it in a bigger pot though so the cup was semi floating. also i did stir quite occasionally because i wasnt quite sure which setting on my old stove would be appropriate.
