This isn't at a node. It's between nodes. And the node below it, the pistils have some brown ones.

Candy Kush auto boogie day 42
First, hope everyone good.:d5: Going into week 7 now of this here auto boogie.:toke: Thirsty girl these days, watering with well water 6.6ph, 4 to 6 cups every 36 to 48 hours as needed. MC @ 3g, SC @ .5g, Cal/Mag @ 1g, BE @ .5g / all at a gallon this last week. The next mix of nutes, MC will go up to 4g and the rest will stay the same.

Just a bit of light defoliation of a few bud sites that were not seeing much light. Mainly leaf tucking and LST. Doing my best in keeping the VPD between 1 and 1.2, for at least another week. For indoor growing, I think I'm hooked on VPD. :jump:

Shout out to @Waira @Dabber @420Forever :yay:
Take care an don't forget ta boogie:vibe:

Candy Kush auto boogie day 49
Lost some lower leaves this week. I think not enough N early on as I started out low and presently feeding about 66% of recommended amount. Got some brown tips going on mid to upper leaves that is slowing going out to the edge of a few leaves. Really no idea what is causing that to happen.

Been feeding @ 4gMC, 1gCal/Mag, .75g SC, and .75g BE per gallon. Water PH'd at 6.5 this last time. I think after one more feeding, the Cal/Mag gets dropped. Keeping the VPD 1.10 to 1.3 most of the time.

I know the plant could be doing better than it is if I knew what I was doing - or maybe not eh. She's still got the boogie happening.

So here's a few pictures for the week. I take the pictures with the cobs on.

Hope your hanging in there in a good way right now. My heart goes out to Italy and Spain, and to those that live in the states right now.

Thanks for stopping by.

First of all,
I think you words and wishes are very scholarly
I've been following @pop22 & @Dabber
advice on using MC in low doses.
My last grow was also done at 4g of MC.
It didn't fair well. I kept getting Mg def'c and adding Mg made it worst:doh::nono:

This grow, started the seedlings on a 75ppm diet of Mg (epsom only, not a calmag soln).
Then started feeding at 100ppm of MC every week. Upped the ppm by 100 to a max of 400ppm.
And they're doing fine.
I am using MC 2.0 with a 50ppm of SC as well.
Someone told here a couple of days ago that SC has a little Mg in it.
What I'm finding is unless your plant has a cal def'c. Feeding calcium causes all kinds of issues and lockouts.

I started @ 2g MC and worked up to 4g, which may have been light in the initial veg stage. I'll do one more feeding with the cal/mag and after that no more cal/mag. The nutes right now are around 350ppm. My well water is high in sodium and total ppm is 215, so after all nutes added its in the 560 to 570ppm range.

I'm looking at what i am going to use for outdoors in another 6 weeks. In the states, I used FFHF as a base for the top 2/3rds of the hole in the ground, , cut with perlite and 2 year old compost, Happy frog soil, and perlite in the lower third of the hole. Now I'm on Vancouver Island and may try using Sea Soil cut with perlite and ProMix HP. Still sorting that out.

Yep, I follow @Dabber too as he seems to have a lot of experience and success with MC.

Thanks for stopping by and take good care!

@Smoking Frog thanks for dropping by. This girl is doing much better than my first try. Still not dialed in but getting a little closer. Another 6 weeks or so to go so I hope she keeps her boogie on!:dancer:

@Kyote
Have you considered installing a filter or RO system for the sodium?
200+ is a lot even for human consumption.
My only concern would be lockout during flowering. @Waira. May offer some advice on your situation. You are definitely not alone with a high mineral count in your well water.
