Indoor Candy Kush auto 2nd indoor grow

@Kyote
Have you considered installing a filter or RO system for the sodium?
200+ is a lot even for human consumption.
My only concern would be lockout during flowering. @Waira. May offer some advice on your situation. You are definitely not alone with a high mineral count in your well water.

We just did our yearly test on the well water and its safe for consumption. We do filter drinking water with a Berkey. I'll do a ppm reading on that water. I plan on putting in rain barrels and will have that for the fall as I won't be growing indoors until then, after this one is finished.

I was wondering about lockout too due to the high ppm reading of the well water. That is another reason I've kept the ppm of the nutrients lower, which may not be the right approach. The stems are a good healthy green so I don't think there is lockout happening. Maybe stem health isn't a good indicator of that. I think it is but that is just my hunch.

Had about 375 ppm in my well water.When i was adding my nutes at first ppm were up to 800+ ppm.
Cheap ro kit from Amazon solve that.After installation,my ppm were at about 10-20.
We're now drinking our well water instead of bottled water.Taste and smell are way better!

I've just started looking a bit. Around $300 and up here in Canada. Maybe something I can get set up for the fall. It would be better to drink the RO water too. I'll finish this CK out with the well water and keep the ppm's on the low side. I'm watering with nutrients 1/2 gallon every other day. She's drinking well :tonic:so I am keeping my

Drinking RO is better than a ton of minerals for the kidneys.
But terrible for dehydration.
From a nutrient perspective.
You're drinking 0 minerals and peeing all your electrolytes out (making you thirsty).
So you drink more water, and the cycle gets worst...
Kinna like drinking beer...
