NEWS Canadians, I am curious ACMPR timeframe.

I used one of those online places. Cost was 135..60 for 5g a day, which is 10 outdoor plants or 20 indoor plants. 5g/day is the lowest tier. From what i've read, it takes two to three months. The online part is for the doctor's part. Then they send that paperwork to me, and I send that in, along with the paperwork to grow that I printed out online. Couple months later, they send the license out.

Yup it didn't quite take 2 months when me or my buddy did it. But it was all in waiting for the government part of it. Smart to have done it now though as you'll be setup and ready by outdoor season at worst. At best you'll have it early enough to start inside if you wanted to have them ready. Glad to see it's on the road to working out for you. Glad to have you on site here and in the country my friend, good luck with everything I am pretty certain it will work out fine.

@Steviestash sorry I tried to tag you for the last message, thanks for any information you can give me I appreciate it.
The doctor will give you a prescription and then depending on how many grams your prescription is for you can apply for grow licence I think its 5 plants per gram and like I said it's not some outrageous amount to get the licence the only reason you pay the $60 for the doctor is an administrative fee for them filing the paper work doctor stuff takes no time at all but the waiting begins when paper hit the government lol can take weeks or months

Nothing with our government seems to move overly quickly, thanks for the information though I appreciate it. It may change the way I go about things moving forward.

Well got the first part done this afternoon. Next is getting the paperwork in order and sending it all in. If I wasn't a permanent resident, I wouldn't do this. But I don't want to be kicked out of this beautiful country over a few dollars. At least it employs folks in the canna world

You got a great attitude about it my friend, I wouldn't want to see you have to leave over some nonsense like that either glad things are going smoothly for you. Hopefully things move along quickly I know my friend and I had our prescription quickly from them so hopefully it's equally quick for you.

Hey guys, I was curious about the medical licence - if you're growing outdoors, are there security requirements like fencing required?
I can't find any recent information and Health Canada is too busy to answer questions.

I think for the most part it can't be visible to the public and in a gated yard at least you know kinda locked up

not next to a daycare, or potheads.
