Yeah this is my brand NST High Grade Hybrids. I don't have them marketed online right now. Just doing personal fulfillments local. I have another business I started that is eating all my time up. Also had some security issues several years back and can only run a green here of there now.

I found yesterday this topic, and read almost all off it. For me except real breeding the thing that I look, is the finall result of the plant, like breeders described it, and is it As good or not, yield flavors and potency.. As long time member of this and few other forums I can say there is much dishonest and fuckery from all sides.. Like making vendors and supporting them, despite beeing bad products companies, praising some of them while there here.. How much od you remember FB vs AFN times. But now there is all good.andets all have memento moment about it. Things like that really leaves bad taste, as someone who looks at all of this from a side... But when afn is all about good vibes, grobro vibes and all, it sit'S different to me vs let let take as example RIU WHIch us scummy forum by its dna..

Many of you wrote do your research.. What mfcn research? When half of forums are dishonest, or there is some tabu themes to talk about.. And when you get in some dm's and honest chatting with members that grow bunch of different gears/breders, you hear that isnt everything peachy, lime it predented to you on forums and in reviews.. LIKE just few meph strains check Their potency boxes or similar. While they are all publicy praised over here.

And Let me say that company that spends shit load of money for marketing, and has perfect loking every strain in their catalog is lil sus to. Me. How meph and rock blew out? Certainly not by marketing..

For me its hard as hell to find proper info of any auto I wanna grow.. I like to browse GD for strains I 'm research, but there are bunch of people that can't grow, so you get descriptions on some indica, like racey and uplifting , and you see it harvested 2 weeks too early, and similar stuff like that. And talking about long vegging autos? Wtf I would grow them if they go beyond
90 days??I got P plants for that.. And yes I choose companies that I belive do their own breeding.. Just my 2c

I am high and can't give you back the time you may spend reading this so you've been warned lol I am about the final product personally. I don't believe in intellectual property rights when it comes to genetics. I see the potential for some corporation could come in and lock things up for everyone. Genetics should be open source IMO. There is common decency like some companies do it and reveal source of all their genetics, some purposely keep it quiet. You can guess what the crosses are for all of Fastbuds new strains like Kosher Cake, Wedding Glue, etc.. but they actually don't spell out the lineage or parents as a matter of company policy. I personally don't care. In the short time I have been growing, I think I grew around 35-40 autos and Fastbuds Chemdawg was my absolute favorite! Taste was what I personally like best and it was ultra potent. Their Tangie auto was my favorite sativa high I have had motivational wise. I just got 9 new strains today from a private breeder that are all crossed with one Mepthisto Alien vs Triangle. I am thankful and excited to have them. Is it the result of pollen chucking? I personally don't think so. If you are growing with a plant limit or not for that matter, you are going to gather a bunch of ladies of different popular lineages and put a male stud in their to do his thing. Like Exotic Genetix or any breeder, you are going to have a line that has one similar parent. Did this breeder specify that it was a Mephisto AvT? No, but knowing what I do about genetics I assume when i see that just like if I see Kosher Cake in a new cross, I think Fastbuds, Think Different I think Dutch Passion and so on. I understand how DHG would feel about Bruce Banner as if you are breeding from scratch for something new it is a lot of work. But that begs a question, are you really starting from scratch? If you aren't crossing two landraces, aren't you really starting with other peoples work already? If patents or rights were granted, do you think if the product was good enough, money wouldn't be thrown and rights would end up in a Phillip Morris vault?? DHG wouldn't mind as he would get paid for his work if he is lucky and the lawyers can't figure out how to steal it but the genetics and potential are then taken off the table. The market can and will decide all and if you are putting out stable tasty potent genetics, I want some! lol

We've never once invited a vendor to AFN that we didn't explain that we were under zero obligation to kiss their butts or otherwise promote their products outside of normal user satisfaction (or dissatisfaction.) We've always explained to the test growers they are under no obligation to kiss anyone's butts either, but we do expect a level of maturity, respect, and tact with the feedback (otherwise it's the same trolling bullshit that you find on any forum.) Also, we've always negotiated gear/kit for the growers of the forum instead of just asking for gigantic stacks of cash (which to be honest with you, would have been 1000% easier for all of us running the show here, but instead we barter for gear/kit for you guys.)

Just wanted to point that out to you. AFN has spent $0 on marketing in it's nearly 11 years in existence. Not one penny.

I think what it comes down to is that you personally run into vendors that you successfully grow and like the effects. You tend to buy from these vendors. Most are probably like me who can't even keep up with what they buy. I still buy seeds based on what I see people successfully growing and what people say. For me, it has been Fastbuds, Mephisto, Nightowl, Twisted Tree, and Seed Stockers. They have built my trust. Not saying that I don't grow others or others won't make the list. I. am not saying that there isn't better or others worth growing either.

You better believe I will be trying to get some Darkowl this weekend!

Man, this breeding thing is a war zone. Really interesting subject as I'm at the end of the chain, just buying my beans, directly from Mephisto for the most and last time from FB for a test. Tryed few other one and except Dinafem (RIP), nothing special under the sun.

I don't even bother that much with THC %, when I'm baked I'm baked. I've read somewhere that the brain can't get higher than a certain point. Brain receptor shut down or something like this. I remember when I was younger smoking 20 joints in a day and not being more stoned, just enhancing my tolerance and my addiction. Stupid times, lot of money wasted and I wasn't a grower at that time.

God I love my vape + my jars full ! All my love to AFN and my growbros/growsis all around the world and dimensions for all this knowledge

I know that there was some things about some vendors that hasn't sit with me to oright. But I'm too demented to remember. I dont think about breeders, there was bunch of other vendors in here , from lights to nutes. I think that In my 6y of beeing AFN memeber , I always was productive and positive member, and trolling was last thing I would do in here.. But I would like to see some more objective stands on all Vendors or other things presented here. because i really cant think almost one exsample where I found some objective info about products presented here, like with realy pro and cons.

@Son of Hobbes how’s it Buddy, been a hot minute. Was on last night shooting the shiz and saying was up to peeps.
But some things I learned along the way of jumping from grower to breeder. But I do agree, don’t just take someone’s word,, on this or that for autos, heck even photos. I have projects coming that are photo to autos, autos x autos, auto collabs, photo collabs. But the main thing I have learned and some hard lessons learned. Research Research Research, and then chat with peeps ya trust that’s grown that gear. (I know I kinda contracted myself here a lil, but by some ones word, like random comment on say a breeders/ banks IG page) actually find someone ya know that’s actually grown that gear. Then consider this (throwing this out there if someone else hasn’t said yet, as I didn’t completely read all 32 pages), a breeders suggestion on growing is exactly that, a suggestion. Remember your grow style, your environments, all play a part. So make sure it’s not you before jumping the gun and blasting a breeder. Now banks are different and honestly after some learned lessons I no longer use banks at all. And yes there are crap breeders out there, i am not even suggesting I am “the best or up there compared to some auto breeders” ie, Magic, Ronin, Daz, even FullDuplex, I look up to those guys and man I know I bug them with questions. Luckily meeting them here on AFN has helped me a lot and I run Magics auto regs for my breeding (yes with permission and I consider him a mentor), as for renaming I actually use a discontinued auto reg from him and taking it further in falil stages as he doesn’t have time due to his other projects. Even he’s excited I am carrying it further. Ugh my bad I know I am ranting now, dang coffee and wake and bake, But research and knowledge will help curb some these questions. And for “small time breeders” mistakes happen, unless they are complete douches (I know a few who repackage and that’s messed up and wrong on so many levels).
