Yeah bro. We have to help each other. I’m sure you are just like me when I say “I’m tired of being deceived as well.”
I suggest hanging in some of the photo groups. Some of those guys are hardcore and tell it like it is. You have to be open minded as to what you believe because those guys are cutting each other throats because everyone one wants to be that guy making the $$$.
Another thing, when it comes to what’s good or not, it’s best to see for yourself. Everyone’s tolerance is different and this stuff dang near effects us differently every time we smoke it.
Another thing. Germ rates. This is just my opinion as well. I’m not trying to start anything.
The price of good bud is close to $500 an ounce. Show me one of the seed that cannot produce an ounce of bud in the worst of conditions. So even if I just get one seed to pop, I don’t get upset. Yeah I want more, yeah it may mess up my grow plans, but I guarantee I got my money worth when I got 2+ ounces of good shid sitting in a jar. That’s worth about a $1,000 if I had to buy it from a dispensary. If I like it, I’ll buy another pack and do better to get 2 to pop this time.. that way I can make more beans for “personal use.”
To each his her own when it comes to how they feel about this because I know how hard $$$ is to come by sometime. I know people who spend $50 a day buying bud off the streets.

So are you saying that FB, etc are breeders? Or are they simply buying repackaged seeds from a warehouse where X amount of others are buying from and repackaging the same seeds? Am I buying FB, Sweet, DP, whatever “genetics”? Or am I buying Tiger One genetics, or whatever the place is called?

it’s a serious question. It may sound dumb. But if X amount of companies are doing this - buying the same seeds and renaming/repackaging, and they’re all the same, then I plan on growing them. But why wouldn’t I buy from the company that relabeled them for the cheapest? I’m not knocking any of the companies. Ultimately the growing is on me.

I believe that Fastbuds, Sweet, breed their own among others… they have their own website. But you can buy their seeds from a seed bank… most breeders like FB give a list of retailers that are trusted.

I was under the opposite impression. I had been under the impression that they purchased their seeds from one of the big breed houses in Spain. Repackaged and resold. I’d love to be wrong. As I have a lot of them. They do well for me. And it doesn’t matter so much except that something like Errors seeds appear identical and are 1/2 the price.

I can get what he's saying tho sometimes people blame their faults on the breeder. But at the same time if you pay especially alot fot a seed and it's not good people have a right to say they think something else is better. But everyone's body is different everyone likes different effects flavors. So it's just an opinion. I've had stuff I loved and shared and other people werent as excited about it and would rather smoke another strain.
What i was saying about autos not being consistent I mean it's hard to scale up and have the same strain in autos because you can't keep cuts so you have to recreate it every time. If they don't select similar plants you won't get the same strain you had last time I'm not an expert tho.

I guess I’m confused, but what qualifies someone as a breeder? Mephisto is a breeder, right? And others mentioned

I always assumed FB was a breeder. They may just be a retailer/marketer. Maybe they have contracts with breeders to produce certain cultivar seeds but do they actually "breed" them?

Blue dream matic is good I want to grow a real blue dream some day def had blue dream in it but is different great yielder I guess like blue dream is. Maybe it got that trait from blue dream

Cool. I have had some good FB runs as well. That website language doesn't really tell us anything.
