Indoor Calling All Experts!!! Need advice for Snow Ryder.

This is only my second grow so I'm hoping to do much better this time!

I am sure you will Growing is a learning experience with great rewards. Is this your first time growing Auto's? I have been growing off and on for about 11yrs and I am doing my first auto grow now. It is very different from growing photos, but still a lot of fun! I hope they smoke as well as photos also. I have yet to get high from an auto strain.

Yeah I LOVE watching them grow. This is my first Auto Grow. I got these seeds a while back and then me and my girlfriend got into a bad car wreck and it's taken us both over a year to get better. Still not 100% but FINALLY we're able to get it started. The first time we tried bag seed sativa and it ended up going hermi. We also had some Orange Crush that I got from a buddy of mine and believe it or not I waited too long to harvest and by the time I realized I needed to cut them and cure it it was too late. It was way past it's prime. That's why I wanted to try autos. I got the 150 Watt HPS setup and it seems to be working great with them. They have already sprouted their second set of true leaves! I'll get some updated pics up later today. I haven't smoked any auto strain either so will be a first for us too! I have heard very good things and been told very good things about the Snow Ryder. I'm not expecting any kind of huge yield but we'll be happy with at least two oz's (we hope!) after it's all dried and cured. Thanks for the comments man!

I personally haven't used them but do know a local grower that uses them. He runs photo strains, gets great results and doesn't plan on changing anytime soon. If it ain't broke....

Alright my fellow autoflower aficionados!! Here's the pics I promised you all earlier this morning. As ALWAYS your comments/suggestions are welcomed and encouraged!



They are already showing their second set of leaves. In the next pics I'll show the side views better so you can see the defining levels that are forming. It's Day 8 since the time they popped out of the soil. Day 10 since they germinated. I'm still shocked and amazed at how fast they grow! These autos are NUTS! So in another 6 days or so I should start seeing signs of sex right?? Thanks guys!!

You think they are fast now? Wait until they get some foliage going on.

You should start to see which are males by the 3rd or 4th node. (set of leaves) Usually between 14 and 20 days they'll show you some thing.

Haha! Sweet! Thanks for the reply Bailer! Shouldn't be too long then by the way they are growing! It's been stayin' between 82 - 86 degrees in there. Is that o.k.? They seem to be drinking good too. About every other day the bottom of their pots are bone dry and the soil gets pretty dry too. I just give a small drink and they perk up a little. Doesn't seem to be hurting them (I hope I'm not over watering). I've just been giving them plain tap (well water) at the moment. Waiting on the Nutes to arrive. When is a good guide to know when to start feeding? When the first leaves start to die off? Or do you just go by the amount of days? I don't want to over feed or start feeding too early. Thanks for the reply man. Look forward to your feedback.

be careful you don hit em too early... kinda gotta read the plant... better ta wait a bit this early in the game... one of the worst things you can do is overfert too early... wait till about 14 days outta soil then do 1/2 dose of grow nute....

Hey John! Thanks for checkin' my thread out! I will check out that tips/tricks you recommended. Thanks for the sig comment! I really think Ron Paul would make our government the way it should be. Not just cuz he'd legalize pot and such but for many other reasons. Back on topic, I wanted to hold off on nutes so I'm glad my thinking is correct. Thanks for the advice!
