Lighting California Light Works Tester Program

Hey everybody, lookie what I found! California Light Works has a tester program for their 400w solarstorm uv models. All you have to do is make a grow journal and lay down a $599 deposit. At the end of the test period you can either send the light back and get your deposit or keep the light and consider it a discount from the $999 dollar market price! I'd do it if I had the scratch to throw down, but I don't.

if i had the fund i would have already, they are a great company, since they didn't have a tester / feedback program on the smaller lights they cut my a deal on my 200w solarflare.

Switched main tent from a 240w chrome and 400w hps (4'x4' tent) swapped the hps for two new LEDs.... Thinking this should provide MORE THAN adequate watts per sqf.

Got the sp111d coming supposedly tomorrow... Last night I got my other light, did t set it up to tonight.

:dance: :dance: :dance: !!! Switched out the two t8 UVB bulbs to two 18" t8 6500k bulbs, will leave on all the time for mixed spectrum.
I will be running that led tent as a mom tent with autos always going on as well inside... I have the solar storm now bloom mode with the side t8's running...
The light is ONE SOLID unit... Very noticeable build quality difference in comparison to the other LEDs I have... The plants seen to LOVE IT! Leaf's all started to look like the were praying...

I have had mine now for almost the entire trial period

after this I feel it can yield about 300 grams per m2 if it were great conditions/strain

My yeilds suffered because of things I did, not the light...

I'm in the middle of flowering with my ss400 I got from the trail. So far its performing beautifully. I'll post my dry weight when finished.
I do think it would do best in a SoG setup though. Gonna try that next.

Rock on guys! Got my SS400 up and running now myself, running it in my 4x4' tent that I'm using for autos and mom photos.... Right now I got the chrome 270 and the sp111d (I think those should cover the flowering spectrum) than I have the SS running on veg mode and I swapped out the t8 uv on the side with t8 6500k and have those on as welll... Am I utilizing the lights in their best manner you think? Should I change anything? Throw the SS back into flowering? Love the build quality of the light... Sturdy as shit! We can become the SS400 club :gthumb:

Yea I guess you could call it that, as I don't know what trial there is as I am very happy so far with the light and can see the difference in quality vs my Chinese lights..... Plus I'm a sucker for made in the USA though must admit I do drive Korean.... Gangman Style
