My local hydro shop was adamantly anti-LED for the last year or so...I asked around and they were telling me all the reasons they suck, and honestly, their answers were based on a lot of the grows out there with knockoff, low power models, not the real tek that we seem to have grabbed onto here at AFN. Anyway, he went out to San Fran a few weeks ago for a big grow-show trade exhibition and now he has the entire CA Lightworks lineup in his shop...goes to show ya, even the old school HID guys can be converted!
Indeed mate,we have a fine mix of top notch LEDs in use at AFN,and getting all these reviews together in one place,with links to the actual grow gives members & anyone doubting LEDs a full insight into what is achievable.
and it also helps wannabe LED user a chance to get feed back from our brothers instand of salesmen ......know for sum love

Hey guys I just wanted to update this with a little more info. I have been talking to CLW through email trying to get as much info as I could for you all. I explained about the review section on this site and they provided me a lot of info and even a discount for us ALL to use. Now THAT's CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Great review and awesome light.
I got on there SS800 growers program and was highly impressed with not only the light, the end result but the deal sealer for my business was there customer service. Every email I have had with that company was responded to by there CEO George. Outstanding guy.
A idea of there customer service .. one of the quadrants of my SS800 went out. Not a big deal as I only had 2 plants under it. I emailed him and he emailed that I was in the first series of SS80s that were made and some experienced a defect. Usually how anyone is on a 2000 dollar piece of equipment is you mail in yours they mail you the replacement or they repair it.
I was surprised when he told me to finish my grow and he was UPSing me a brand new revised model. New model also had more fans that ran significantly quieter. Thats outstanding customer service to do that. The only company I have had that sort of customer service is Apple.
