C.S. Reversal..

I've read a couple of posts saying that partially reversed plants shouldn't be smoked. Apparently CS isn't what you want to inhale smoked - vaporised heavy metals = bad.
I know that you would only use the non-CS'd flowers, but some have stated the CS apparently renders the whole plant toxic.
Personally I don't see how the whole plant would be affected, if only partially reversed. The CS effect is only localised.
Stand by for a bio-chemist to shoot me down.

Nah, the silver won't hurt you. I drink CS every day. Even have a CS gel that works wonders on my boo-boos. Knocked the hell outta Mom's MERSA on her leg!

I doubt Boogieman's a vampire, so he should be ok.

Epic Genetics says otherwise:

My first and only reversal attempts failed on 2 subjects; an AK48 auto, and a Diesel Haze auto. Although sacks formed they were tiny and contained nothing. Both plants went into the compost. Maybe the upper buds might have been ok, I'll never know now. The would be recipients turned out ok though...buds a bit fluffy, but I run small T5s.

Hey H. I wouldn't smoke a plant that's been sprayed w/C.S. C.S. works at a cellular level(inside the plants cell )., meaning it goes all through the plant . I don't know if you misread my last post, I meant I was saving some un-pollenated buds from the SDH plant for smoke.. Don't smoke a plant that's been sprayed w/ C.S. or any chemical used for reversing.

If you have unsprayed buds on a plant that did have some parts sprayed, you probably shouldn't smoke them, but making an alcohol tincture might be a valid alternative. Not enough research has been done to be sure tho.

I personally wouldn't smoke a partially CS'd plant either. I composted my 2 failures, I'm sure some folk wouldn't have. The 2 fems that the pollen from the reversals was destined for turned out far better than their reversed counterparts did. I'll easily manage with their crop until next time, although a bunch of seeds would have been nice.

Maybe I wasn't understood. Colloidal Silver is beneficial as an ant-bacterial agent, either topically or internally. I ingest it daily. YES, you can smoke it and it will NOT harm you. If you don't want to, ok. But let's not promulgate the myth that it's harmful.

Sorry Tx, not trying to stir the pot. There's little doubt of the health benefits of a properly produced CS solution.
Lots of mixed messages about smoking buds from partially reversed plants all over the www though.

Boogieman, yeah - I did misunderstand your post. I get it now.

Just a few pics of my seeded SDH plant day 50. day 50 sdh 098.jpgday 50 sdh 037.jpg Had to pick a seed to see how they are doing.day 50 sdh 072.jpg...:smoke:
