I’m happy with that, if it costs £6 or £7 quid postage it’s probably worth it just to try them out. He’s sent a picture of them The holes look slightly smaller on these but nothing a drill bit couldn’t solve to get nearer the original pots. They are China copy’s but that’s fine.So that's 30x27 internal, not including any extra volume in the sticky-out bits, so there's 19L
Big enough...
Hi HH, I’m still trying to decide on another light, for the time being I’ll be using my frankenpanel. (For more info about the frankenpanel check out @Banjackeds grow here..... https://www.autoflower.org/threads/project-cheapo-led-grow-lamp.62497/)Hi there,
I’m all caught up and subbed. Just popped a Blackberry Gum seed in soil.
Your grow is looking good & you have good people keeping an eye out.
Have you decided on a second light yet?
Cheers,
HH

There’s no real hurry for another light when I’ve already got frankie. Should go quite nicely together and banjacked seems to be getting some nice results.
I’m really torn when it comes to lighting, I keep changing my mind. I think I’m going to go with some quantum boards to be honest.

I hear you, my concern is that I just don’t know enough about what I’m doing. Do you have an example of one of these type of builds? I’d like to see such a thing being done. Simply because it helps me understand what’s involved.QB's are great for simplicity, just make sure the driver is "remote" from the heatsink and driver (you can run a LOT more than 2m of 1.0mm² mains cable without worries about loading, voltage drop, etc, as an example. Just make sure the driver doesn't sit on the heatsink, keep it at least a foot away).
The thing I see with QB's, for simplicity, and a DIY "hard" strip build, more complicated, over a COB is the spread of light from a lower height without worrying about temperatures. It all comes down to budget and, in all honesty, since you could make a Frankie then you definitely have the ability to do a strip build which might get you the same results at a lower cost.
I lucked out, sent a replacement bag free of charge. I now have fifty litres of both light mix and all mix so I won’t be buying soil for a little while and I’m glad, the current soil is absolute shit to be honest. I used it in my garden outside also......the results not being good. You live and learn I suppose!finishing times is a pro grower growing 10 and its not an average, its the first that finishes.hey 60-70 looks better than 70-80.pinch of salt add on a week if not two weeks extra is the norm.
cost to much to send back ? allmix aint that bad a few use it.if its a well know auction site that dosnt rhyme with a forrest and a river, offer half price on a real bag of lightmix.mix the two im sure the plants will love it.
