rookie mistakes are to be expected,so dont let them get you down.some of us have made rookie mistakes 4 times over :haha: and its really quite hard to kill a canabis,so whatever happens over the next 6,7 ? weeks you gonna end up with some buds anyway :pass:and it would surprize just how much ya learn without realizing it come 2nd/3rd grow.
keep er lit.
:pighug:
Thanks for the encouraging words. To be fair some of the advice I followed was quite poor. For instance, I feel my soil is too muddy/heavy now after being told not to use perlite.
I started with a 20% perlite mix and tried to change that when she went into her final pot. Wish I hadn’t, she seemed to be growing much better in the lighter soil mix and now she takes forever to dry out... I suspect some slight stunting also.
If it ain’t broke don’t fix it!
Can’t wait to get the AK420 into some light mix and whop some biobizz nutes in now.
Regards, BWM

ive just noticed this thread is in the indoor section.this is your first grow, and you havnt had much traffic.its just my opinion, but even if ya been growing 20 years id still suggest a first grow onsite be in the new growers section.can get easy lost if ya go into the indoor section, people dont recognize the name and move to next thread.in new growers section you will get a look in.
have a look see other new growers in the same boat as you https://www.autoflower.org/forums/new-growers-grow-journals.44/

Yeah, gotcha! Everyone’s an expert in some forums!! (I’ve had much better advice since joining here though) All I can do now is keep my fingers crossed, water and feed carefully and hope for some decent buddage.

Looking good  and :welcome: did I see Mega Crop :tonic: and FB Blackberry Kush awesome I did this combo my 2nd grow and it really did well here's a link to ithttps://www.autoflower.org/threads/the-kush-comparison-grow.63153/ and you can see you have some nice smoke there :frog:
Thanks for stopping by @Dabber, yes, I had a sample pack of MC shipped to the U.K. not too sure what I’m doing with it but, hey, I’m just winging it. Gonna check out your grow now, not seen many grow diary’s on this.

Got you! I soak my pots then let dry out, I grow in 5 litre pots. And for a seedling I don't usually water again after pre planting soak , for 2 weeks. Then weekly until flower then every 3.5 days or more.

Sent from my comfy chair.

I do the presoak too, but mainly so the soil temperature is equalised with the water the germinating seed is in (I don't do paper towels, or even wait until the taproot is fully out so that can't be damaged, everyone has their own methods and if they work for you then do it, there is no "right" method), because for some reason I think of "temperature shock" which may or may not have an effect on the sprout.

Just one of my foibles
