New Grower BWM’s First Indoor Grow (FastBuds BlackBerry Auto)

(Day 13 update) Hello all, here we are at day 13 since germ. She’s starting to throw out more leaves now and take more water. It’s time to carefully transplant to her final home. She’s been moved slightly closer to the light and was sitting at 19”/20” for the last couple of days. I’m being very careful not to bleach her or even kill her. The nodes are looking quite close together I think and I’m hoping that will continue as I don’t want a tall plant. Here’s some current pictures before I transplant her. (Excuse the single cat hair that managed to photobomb the pics)

That’s the transplant complete. I only had about 2litres of compost left so mixed that in with my current mix of 20% perlite/compost mix. I estimate that she is now sat in a mix of 10% perlite/compost. 2 or 3 Roots were just starting to show at the bottom of the old pot so it looks like I got her out at the right time. I gave her just enough water to help her along and didn’t soak her. She looks really tiny in her new 7 litre home!

Hi all, it’s been a while since my last update. I make this (Day 23) on the BlackBerry bitch I have growing........and grow she has! She’s also started to throw out a funky smell too. She’s been transferred to a 80 x 80 x 160cm grow tent as I’ve been a little pre-occupied getting my growbox in the loft finished off.

Im still following a wet/dry cycle currently watering about 1litre every 3 or 4 days. The meizhi lighting has now been switched onto full power (veg & bloom) at a distance of 16”. Temps have been quite consistent and tend to stay between 22c - 28c regardless of lights on or off.

She still seems to be growing fine but I am aware of an issue and would appreciate any feedback from some of you more experienced growers.

I’ve noticed a small amount of small yellow/brown spots on some of the leaves along with slight yellowing/browning along the serrated edges of the leaves.

I’ll post it in the problem section also just in case nobody actually reads my ramblings here.

(Day 26) Mini Update. Soooo, it appears it’s flower time! She’s only 12” tall but that’s ok, I didn’t want a huge monster and I reckon she’ll probably finish around 18”-24” tall but I’ll leave the more experienced here to tell me if that’s not going to be the case.
I realised today that the problem I’ve been experiencing above ^^^^ Is probably nothing to do with nutrients or deficiencies or even pests. It’s simply bad placement of my fan and she’s not liking it......unfortunately I took bad advice on that and she was getting a good blast by it.
The fan has now been re-situated and is gently circulating the air inside my tent rather than blowing all over her Majesty. I hope she approves!
Temp is still being consistent staying around 20c - 25c. Lighting distance 15” (switched to bloom) Humidity has dropped to 50% but I think that’s probably ok considering she’s gone into flower.
Anyway, that’s all for now I’ll update with some pics tomorrow as it’s kinda late.

She’s been given a feed of megacrop tonight along with a touch of top max. Biobizz nutes have taken a backseat until my light mix arrives. These will be used on the next lady!
Also now in the tent is a seedstockers AK420 (sativa dom) and some chillis (Kashmiri)

Thanks for dropping by Archie, I think she’s doing ok considering my rookie mistakes and the abuse she’s had. I’m surprised I’ve made it this far tbh.

rookie mistakes are to be expected,so dont let them get you down.some of us have made rookie mistakes 4 times over and its really quite hard to kill a canabis,so whatever happens over the next 6,7 ? weeks you gonna end up with some buds anyway and it would surprize just how much ya learn without realizing it come 2nd/3rd grow.

ive just noticed this thread is in the indoor section.this is your first grow,and you havnt had much traffic.its just my opinion,but even if ya been growing 20 years id still suggest a first grow onsite be in the new growers section.can get easy lost if ya go into the indoor section,people dont recognize the name and move to next thread.in new growers section you will get a look in.
