I would leave it where it is...even shorten the hours to squeeze every bit of resin from it..

Thanks for dropping in.:)
Shortening light cycle increases resin production in Autos? I assumed 4hours a day extra would give me 40 hrs extra growth over 10 days?

The growth period should be about finished by now..Just the final push to get the trichs to the right state so that you can determine what sort of stoned effect your after.

Time for the loupe or high resolution camera to come out to see what stage the trichs are.

I find that more darkness in the last couple of days before harvest seems to force the plant to mature a little bit quicker as it nears its death and my subsequent pleasure.

Everyone has their own ideas and with autos there is not really a wrong or right way in finishing them..I try and harvest with the trichs around 30-40% amber but not all autos reach this stage and it's a then down to picking a small bud and trying a quicksample.

Interesting, how many hours darkness do you give your plants near harvest? This time I'm Harvesting due to time constraints! Buds are swelling and the aroma broke through the filter 10 days ago, So I think I'll harvest early but not immature.

I leave them for at least 24 hours up to 48 hours before harvest.

tbh, if I were you, I would try and get them to the end. You've spent months growing them and there's nothing worse than immature bud as it just gets you trippy high..I recently cut a think different early at 80 days and it's awful compared to the one that I grew previously for 105 days which was an amazing smoke..

sort your filter out and if you can, see them through till the end but ultimately it's the trichs which will determine when to finish.

Try and get a close up of the buds and post it so that we can gauge we're your at and how long to go. The alternative is to use something like ripen which forces the plant in to finishing early but I've used it once and whilst it worked I just felt a bit of an idiot for not seeing it till the end.

I think timing Harvesting is down to personal taste and can be dependent on Phenos and environment.I Find the TD a but much over Amber.I will post up a pic if I get time I'm going on holiday, hence the early chop.:)

Checked the plants yesterday and the ABB and Durban aren't near enough ready. So I have decided to set up a drip system for the last two weeks while away(have already started the cleanse )The TD might go a little over but that will be nock out material . :)

After all they did need more time than I thought. Must have a slower ABB pheno.Im a bit nervous about leaving them under drips for 2 weeks. Still have to set the irrigation system up and test how many ml per hour each drip will give.I have twelve going from an octopus style distributor. I'm going to blank four and use two per pot fed from a small 400 l/h pump

Sitting in Beautiful Rural France, Hope my plants are doing o.k back in Blighty(I hear it's been Monsoon conditions at the end of August!) Going to be a hell of a surprise when I return after two weeks this coming Thursday. Hopefully a nice surprise.
