I harvested my Buddha Syrup today. Since there is not much info out there about the strain I wanted to post some pics. She was not the most beautiful girl at the prom (my fault) but she sure is sweet, sticky, and just totally covered with sugar. She has a very sweet smell that reminds me somewhat of chewing gum.
She became root bound in my 1.5 gal air pot around 3-4 weeks ago. When I discovered her everything was drooping. She lost most of her fan leaves within a day or two and has some browning on other leaves but she pulled through well. I would have loved to see the output if she was not root bound.
She was grown under a 500w Blackstar LED using Technaflora Recipe For Success. She was also grown in organic soil that a local nursery makes. She was harvested at day 87... Most trichs were cloudy and many just started to show a light shade of amber. If I had to guess she will be 2oz+ dry. I did not weigh wet. I also have enough sugar leaf and popcorn buds left over to do 2-3 BHO runs in my 1oz tube. The sugar leaf was just covered in frost... Can't wait.
I pulled off a sample bud last night and quick dried in my Volcano. Even with the quick dry she tasted very good. Very sweet and smooth. The high was more narcotic but not so much to give you couch lock. I'll post a smoke report in 3-4 weeks after she cures.
The last pic is of my Buddha Deimos that is at 99 days and still looks like she needs 2 more weeks. Ugh.
