New Grower Buddha seeds syrup in a Wilma hydro system

Yeah, thats a good trick, has anyone done it with auto's though?

My big mistake I think was listening to the advice of the LED manufacturer to let the plants grow up to the light, it normally hangs a foot from the top of the tent.

I used to get lights as close as possible, won't be making the same mistake again.

Last grow I bent the main cola over and held it there for 30-60 sec. every day and the lower colas grew up past the height of the main cola yielding some huge secondary buds. I haven't tried crushing the stem intentionally:)

When did you aquire the nute burn? If it was during veg. they might tolerate a little more as you're in flower but if they are a nice dark green you're probably right. Are you using RO/Distilled water or tap water and if you are using tap water have you subtracted out your starting ppms when you say your ppms are at 540?

Tap water and its 120ppm, the burn is only on one plant and its very slight, I think I could push the others, but not that one, so i'm sort of at the peak unfortunately.

Cheers

That is one of the few things I don't like about growing hydroponically. It can be difficult to grow more than one strain at a time. Sounds like you have it under control. Peace!:d5:

Hi guys

Just been reading Donzo's Syrup grow diary, he ended up with monsters too, it seems the key is smaller pots, he used 15 litre airpots and ended up with 1.25 m plants and around the 86-90 days till chop.

I've upped the nutes slightly so we shall see.

Not sure if syrup is the best strain for hydro, I was expecting plants about 80cm at finish, the way these have grown, two would have filled my tent.

Not sure what to do as if it takes much longer my vegging photo periods will be rootbound :(

Not knocking Buddha seeds as these are very vigourous and healthy plants, just not quite what I was expecting.

Cheers

Buds are starting to swell a bit more now, looking at the end of March before chop IMO, pics next week.

Bevis, If they are getting too tall you can try lowering the light to stop them from stretching. I get short plants as I can't move my light farther than 24" from my plants.

Day 77 from sprout, any guesses on how long left, buds are swelling but all pistils are white and sticking out.

Well i've pushed the ppm to 800 and will leave it for another week, then start to flush, this grow is going to be 90+ days.

"Munch..munch..munchaloha beavis~
yeah they're looking pretty darn good! a lil young yet, yes? but happy as can be.
is it weird that I'm excited by your upcoming flush?
naw... I'm about 10 days until I begin just cal/mg water myself!

anxious for smoke report so we can all officially drool and have a strong case of "bud-envy"!

green-mojo-vibes all day long!

aloha

Cheers Hapa, everything's still green and swelling, one of the plants pistils have started browning the other two haven't yet.

I've changed the rez and the ppm is now 400, will just top up with water as the level drops, so not a pure flush so to speak, but no more nutes.

Hoping to harvest at least one by the 10th of April:d5:
