Thought last weekend I was two or three weeks out. By the looks of her today she will be coming down next week. One of the heaviest feeding autos I have had. She could of been prettier but she is filling out nice.

Update- Day 64 for the Midwest widows. Just went through a power outage… 39 hours dark and temps dropped to 55 deg F. They seem to come through it ok but will keep an eye out for nanners as they are already stressed and that could do it… still feeding the same as before and they aren’t getting worse but not better. Hoping they make it. May hasten the maturity and have to harvest earlier than expected but will let them run as far as they can.

Brother Mendel’s MIDWEST WIDOW
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well, my lady is now at day 70...and no signs of slowing down yet. (pistils are not browning, leaves are not dying, no signs of amber trichomes)
I have been a sneaky mom and done a few things to stress/shock her into maybe moving along a little faster or more trichome production. Her feed has been raised to 1000PPM for the past 3 days. I have turned on the fan filter to max so the temp and humidity is a bit lower. I have positioned the tower fan so she is getting a full blast of air on her. I also have been "increasing" the MarsHydro LED and it is now at 100% capacity, and at around 700-1000 par depending on placement of probe at canopy. This lady is taking EVERYTHING I have thrown at her like a champ!!!
Maybe I can show my midgets this time next week. I think the SST helped their roots and I did get a nice visible response to the SST.
Day 71: Cut. Something went wrong along the way and I was unable to sort it out. Mine stayed short and didn't develop well. It definitely didn't like whatever I was doing. Ah well, made it to the end and the microscope revealed it was time. I can see that the potential of this strain is quite good from what some of you other guys and gals have been able to pull off. I did get some very beautiful looking flowers here and there.
It was interesting that several of us developed the same issue around the same time. Perhaps it needed a switch to the "bloom" nutrients much earlier than expected.
