I think I’ll be cutting my plant tmrw or tonight. I need the space and got family over for 2 weeks one the 23rd so my window is shortening to harvest and not over ripen

Day 70 and my Midwest widow is hanging in the dry tent. She could of definitely gone another week and a half but my window for harvest is close. This grow could of definitely gone better but I wasn’t on top of things but I will run her again in 7 gallon grassroots living soil pot after some testers tho.
Mostly cloudy, some clear.

Was going to chop today kind of on the fence plenty of cloudy trichs not any real amber though. I will decide here in the next hour or so if we are chopping. Not sure much will be gained by holding on another week.

Day 69 Midwest Widow

She is still sucking up 1000ppm of mega crop and bud explosion at about 1.2gallons a day still which i thought she would be slowing down by now but then again she is a big plant so i don't know :smoking:

Depending on a smoke report, I'd buy some more beans and run in a regular Earthbox.
Pisses me off that I screwed my girls early on with gorgeous girls like this!

Update- Day 69 for Midwest widow girls. I don’t know if it’s me but since I got the ph figured out they seem a little greener… plucked a couple dead leaves off and the aroma coming off her is AWESOME! Sweet fruit broad spectrum. Similar to fruity pebbles or fruit loops cereals. Very appealing! I’ll prob let them go til they tell me they are done. Maybe amber them up more than 3-5%… dunno.

I caved. I put her back on the AutoPot for her last week. I just couldn't take making up a gallon of feed 2x a day and Holy Moses do I make a mess. I give ALL you hand feeders so much credit!!



Lowered PPM from 900 down to 600, and put 5 gallons worth in the rez. Checked trics with my loupe, and they are cloudy but no amber yet.
Buds are getting thicker by the day. Her main cola is a tall monster I had to tie over so the others could get light too, whoot!! Let the countdown
begin

I'm glad you like this plant, it sure is my best plant to date somehow, great genetics too. grow n learn for sure! but i feel bad not doing much to this plant during the 1st 5 weeks or so. My next plant i'll cut the bottom sucker branches, trim more leafs, and give support poles as the buds are weighing down the a lot of the branches.

Yeah, I've got to work on that with some of my girls. I've noticed that laying one over can trigger a bunch of suckers. I think it causes the girl to shoot out the hormones to maintain that cola dominance.
Maybe some silica in your next grow may help with strength..
I think everything goes good in an earthbox!!
