DAY 72:
Well, I see some action!! Time to dig out my trusty Jewelers Loupe....weeeeee!
I could use my peeps help. I usually drop the ball come harvest time. I want to be more diligent and attentive this time. So, I usually just feed till the last day and do wet trimming, then rack dry. (yeah, I know...my bad!) I am going to try to shake things up this time. Chop day I am thinking of just cutting down the whole plant and hanging it in the tent with the oscillating fan and the fan/filter on for a slower dry. (68-70 degrees and 50-55% humidity) Then after about +/- week (when buds “snap off” their branch) I will cut off branches, then each individual bud, and give them a nice tight trim. Jar it all up with humidity monitors and Bovida 58% size 8 packs inside, and then burp them 2-3x a day or so. I am also trying a slow decline in nutrients, which I have never done before.
What you guys think?? Is my below schedule to fast?.... Plant is currently at 1000ppm.

day 11= 1 Gallon 900ppm
day 10= 1 Gallon 800ppm
day 9= 1 Gallon 700ppm
day 8= 1 Gallon 600ppm
day 7= 1 Gallon 500ppm
day 6= 1 Gallon 400ppm
day 5= 1 Gallon Just Ph’d RO water
day 4= 1 Gallon Just Ph’d RO water
day 3= 1 Gallon Just pH’d RO water
day 2= Darkness
day 1= Darkness

Looks like you have at least 2weeks to go. Dirt girl, so the hydro guys should chime in about when to cut nutes. Nice work!!!!

Imo, I hate dry trimming (its a sensory issue for me) so I wet trim whole and hang to dry, then cut the buds off the branches once dry.

When I grow in coco I never get above 800 ppms. I just water more the medium makes it more hydro like. So when I get to about day 50 i water three times a day. What are you growing in?

Hi hon. I am in coco, and was about 900ppm 1 gallon a day. Yesterday I started to do 800ppm 3/4 gallon 2x a day. I really had no idea how to hand water going into this as I have always used my Autopot...I miss it! :smoking:

The amount of water is not as important to me as the pot always staying wet. So late in flower I would water in the am, at lunch, then the rest at night I would only drain to waste on the last watering. Its not how big the meal is its how many times she can eat. I am not an expert just what has worked for me hand watering coco for years. I did autopots once not sure why I did not use them again. Just not my cup of tea I suppose. Maybe I should get them back out and give them a go again.

She is still sucking up 1000ppm of mega crop and bud explosion at about 1.2gallons a day still which i thought she would be slowing down by now but then again she is a big plant so i don't know :smoking:
