Hi all,
As you are an incredible source of information I would like to ask you few questions:

#1 if I take let say a skunk#1 from Sensi seeds regular or WW by mr.nice and I cross a male with a female (I.e. skunk X skunk or WW X WW).
Assuming the origin is very stable.

What I will obtain?
An F1? Or I am just backcrossing a stable F7 ( let say)?
Will I have some chance to open some of the recessive traits or some dominant dormant traits and spot some unusual pheno?

Thanks
A

If you're crossing two plants from within a worked line it's advancing the generation. The F stands for "filial", which means inbreeding siblings within the same generation. If your seed pack is F6 then an F6 x F6 would technically be an F7, whereas if you outcrossed it to a different line it'd be an F1 in that notation.

Tho odds will depend on how much variation there is within the line.
