New Grower BR549's First Grow (or, I finally get off my ass...)

Bonus Monday pic! I had each one out in turn to water tonight and noticed a couple of things. First, the oldest one: I accidentally bumped the top of the plant with my nose while carrying it and reacted with "ouch" rather than "oops". Damned thing must have a rock in the middle. Then, I had the baby of the bunch out and noticed what I couldn't see looking down:

Like I said Friday, "A" may finish first, but "C" is going to do it with class. I've got to say I"m impressed with these seeds. I pretty much had these poor things in acid for most of the grow so far, which I'm sure is why they're so short. Yet it looks like I'm still going to get some serious buds out of them. Amazing!

glad you got them flippin bugs under control. I HATE BUGS! I lightly spray the out side of the tent with a tobacco based bug barrier, like the Bayer Advance, once a month and no bugs. but just on the outside of the tent, never the plants. looking real nice BR

I found a microscope for cellphones and tablets. Tested it out and found it a really handy tool. You can focus with your cellphone camera, zoom in, snap a picture or shoot a video. It is pretty neat how it works.

Two noob questions today, one serious, one not so serious.

First, the "not so". Plant "A" is apparently getting sticky and I noticed one problem. Professional growers don't have cats, do they? Or do they shave their buds after growing?

Now the serious one: is it possible to get a freak plant that just lives fast? Plant "A" has been ahead of the curve this whole grow. I see no new flowering, and I even spotted an amber trichome today while playing around with my scope. The other two are nowhere near even being close to finishing, but "A" looks like almost finished (though small) buds. Do plants look finished and then start another wave of flowering, or is this it for this one?

And why do my fingers smell like skunk piss after playing with the plant? :D

:crying:

Regarding the cats. Yes, I shave my bud! I have the same issue......Hairy Buds! You could try the bud wash method.
AND....I also had a freaky girl that was way too mature for her age. (We're talking plants, right?). She went up and shot past her sisters by 3 weeks! I only have a few g's left. <sniff>
