Bob's Journey into Hybridisation and Genetics - For Dummies

Oh and before I forget...A big shoutout goes out to Antonio from Dutch Passion for sponsoring this grow with...yup, BioTabs...
I chose a bad time in communicating with my contact at BioTabs as that person is on holiday, but because I wanted to start ASAP, Antonio helped a brother out and sent me a Starter Pack, which combined with the tabs I had left, helped me out real guuud to fill each pot with one tab.

Hey Friends

We're a couple of days along and about 2/3 of the sprouts have emerged from below the soil. I'm not going to call this day one as I'm gonna give it one or two more days for the rest to emerge.
I've tried something new to get all the pictures inside one thread. Let me know what you think. :bighug:

Why yes they are :toke: These sprouts are mostly from the 5 and the 10 minute exposure and the remaining come from the 1 minute exposure. None from the reference seeds and none from the 15 minute exposure as these looked cooked...

Very nice poppers, Bob
Thank you very much :d5:

That runs in line with most of the papers I read... it will be interesting so see if there will be any significant growth patterns between them.

i like the run of pics on a single post,

I use this command "mogrify -resize 25% img*.jpg" to batch shrink the pics my phone takes,

So these seedlings aren't doing much...Again, the soil is to active for such small sprouts to be introduced into.
You'd think I would have learned by now, right :wall:

So what I'm gonna do is the following...Use three of these handy little sowboxes I bought on Ali...

...and use seedling mix to put inside these little trays...

...which fit perfectly inside these green trays. Looking at it, you could also fit six peat or coco pellets inside

The neat thing is...it's gots lights, lol...:eyebrows: And these little smd chips produce an amazing amount of light which you can adjust with a small, four-button controller on the end of the usb cable. Think I payed 18€ for this gadjet 🖖

Anyway, if you managed to read this far...I did f#(k up again :face:
But as always I try to learn from my mistakes...yeah right...and share it with you guys. Luckily I have more then enough seeds to go at it again.

most interesting little gadget boxes, 1 question, shouldnt the holes line up so any moisture goes straight up and out? and not loiter around the electronics?

Actually you can turn those lights around as to open the holes more or less. The lights themselves are only 5V, so danger of electrocution isn't a factor.

I love you're adventures mate.
You share so much information with the AFN family with every post.
Respect vella.
Thanks mate! I've committed myself to showing everything. The good, the bad and the ugly:shooty:
Gonna go out today and buy me a small bag of seedling mix. Then we're off to another go at it :hump:
