Indoor Blumat Jr.

Before anyone tells me I bought the wrong blumat I must say I knew which one I was buying and I bought the right one.
I am looking for advice on how best to use the blue mat jr with regular mineral nutrients.

At around week 4 growth I plan to add SuperNatural bloom terra to the rez and want to know with a continous watering system like blumat, should I use 1/4 strength? No more feed-water-water cycles with blumats. Its continous watering and fertilizing. My EC at 1/4 strength is 1.0.

I use Blumat's, but only run straight water through them. I only think there's one or two others that I've seen using them so far. Still a lot of folks spending there time hand watering and trying to figure out if the plant needs water. :smoking:

Might be worth seeing if you can get the attention of some of the Autopot growers. Similar system in that they're both automatic watering systems, but more folks using them around the forums. They work differently, but have to deal with some of the same questions like how to make sure your feed lines don't get clogged with nutes.

Thank you! You run water only? How do you fertilize? Hand water it in?

I've been working with doing TLO or supersoil style organic grows. Cultivate the soil and let all the microbes feed the plants. Just give 'em water through the Blumat's and hand water once a week to give them a compost tea supplement. Good info on TLO growing over in the organics section of the forums.
