that's really good to hear mr piggy. since i just got a bunch of MI5 beans from my bud to try out. i think i'll make them my next auto run. from everyting i've heard of these, i might even "want" a male to try and get some seeds out of em.

Oh yes you do want! last year when I was a much more impoverished piggy I bought five seeds at the single seed center and ended up with one female. I isolated the largest stinkiest male and kept him in the other room under one 26 watt cfl until he gave me pollen. I used a q-tip to pollinate three lower buds and ended up with around five hundred seeds and a ton of seed free bud up top. Last summer I gave them away like candy to the local med organizations.

The question I totally forgot to ask is would a 90cfm bathroom fan attached to a small 4" carbon filter be enough to ventilate a blackstar 240 in a 2x2x5 tent? Anyone with experience on the subject?

Blackstar 240 is a good product. I have owned one since last fall. Usually pull 2-3 oz off a plant under it. One thing though its not 240 watts its 130-140 watts. Have a killawatt meter so I know. I use it as a veg light now and its most excellent for that. Got a big boy LED now

That should be fine. It's enough to turn that size area over 4x a minute. I'm running a 165 cfm in a slightly bigger area, with a variable speed controller. Most of the time it's running on low and I have no problems with odor.

I run a dr60 as well... My tip is to run it s.o.g. style with 16 1 gallon grow bags. The grow bags allow you to cram more plants into the small 2'x2' footprint because they are not rigid. I have had decent results doing this with the original HGL 126w model.

Ka-Ching! My refund came in today, time to get me some toys! I've hear tell one can get a better deal by calling gotham hydro up direct and talking to them. I'm also going to nibble their ear about this new chrome light I've been hearing about. I just have to be careful to not gush in front of my cfl/pl-l dresser cab in case it gets jealous. I do have some Nirvana's widow finishing up in there and don't want it to crap out on me.

Ironicaly i had the exact questions piggy. I a bout torig up a box tht is 20"x24"x36". I will be using two 120mm pc fans for exhaust and two of the same for intake. I was thinking of getting tfe 180, but just got sold on the 240 by you guys... i had made a personal descision to go with the 1 gallon grow bags last night. Sog style. Thanks for tfe answers homies.
