Indoor Big Buddha blue cheese auto - Skyline 400 LED

Sooooo.. having just found out what bud rot looks like from another thread I've realised that my 2nd blue cheese was badly affected with it. I've been growing for around 5 years and never had bud rot before.. ever.. so this I have to say is really disappointing.. I have lost most of the top buds.. the nice big ones lol but the rest of the plant seems ok. And off I go to research bud rot. Gutted!!

sorry to hear that mate. very important to have poweful airflow in ur tent come late bloom. mold thrives on big fat buds were its most at home. high humidity as plants transpire in bloom and a full tent. again mold city. always defol mate along the way in flower, keeps good airflow freely around those big buds, mold finds it hard to latch on when good wind present. and very important. always triple check ur girls and buds in full and late bloom everyday if a crowded tent. u will be straight on it and lose maybe a bud or 2. add a second fan defol and crack on. the challenges we face as growers. no buds lost;) happy growing every1 ;)

Thanks for the advice beast. My airflow could be better but this is a first in 5 years.. those were the fattest buds I had grown.. if I'm gonna grow fat buds I'm gonna have to improve my airflow. I have no extraction on for stealth but think that may have to change str8 away. I'm just hoping that what I have removed is all that was rotted even if was the best of the buds.

ohh crap br is a bitch :wall: a lot of the outdoor/greenhouse growers have a list of strains they wont grow because of it,other strains can handle it better than others.
extra airflow in late flower is never a bad thing.
keep er lit.
:pighug:
