best way to sprout seeds

may I ask where that is??? That’s just doesn’t sound right  :nono:

I have done the paper towel method but have gone away from it.. I soak my seed for 3-5 hr in warm RO water with a touch of humic and kelp on a heat mat then directly into their final home.. This method have been the best for me
i buy from crop king in vancouver B.C.
haven't had many duds doing it their way, just wanted to know if there's a better way.

i dropped 8 seeds in water saturday and put them in paper towel sunday and 4 had tap roots this A.M. so into soil they went.
got home from work and the other 4 had tap roots, so into soil they went also.
1 isn't looking good but we'll see.
i was expecting 6 maybe

When in doubt I ask Ed lol

I think the PT method is frowned upon because the paper pulp is chlorinated. I’ve had 100% success with the PT Method. I used to sand the seed before soaking in water. Now I scarify with hydrogen peroxide solution before soaking in a wet PT. I think there are bigger things to worry about.

I think I will plant straight in moist medium for my next grow, I understand some members do it that way.
@automan2 May I ask what kind of heat mat do you use under your pots ?
