Extraction BayLee420's Cooking with Ganja

Making a batch of CannaEVO today. Decarboxlation of the ganja before the EVO oil bath.

The EVO is a blend of half Super Natural OG and S.O.D.K. X Alien.

Weighted out the bud.

Grind the bud with a regular bud grinder and spread on a sheet pan. Putting parchment paper down 1st is a good idea. A non stick sheet pan it's not really necessary.

Set the oven to 230F (110C). The angle of the camera shows 250F, but it's between 225F-250F.

Bake low and slow for 110 minutes.

Sorry about the dirty oven...should of cleaned it before I posted this.
Add decarboxed ganja to a double boiler. Stir occasionally. Cook for a minimum of two hours, but longer is better.

I used 6 cups of California single source Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Normally I do 4 cups. This time I upped it up by 2 cups. Try to keep the oil at 180F to 200F.

Strain well

Finished product. Let cool and bottle and store in refrigerator.
One Tablespoon (15ml) dosage, for myself is a nice buzz. More or less a dose may needed.

CannaEVO finished and bottled. The two small jars hold over 3 fll. oz.
Total preparation time:
Carboxylate in 230F oven for 110-115 minutes.
Cooking ganja oil two to six hours.
This batch of CannaEVO had a total prep time of 7 hours 15 minutes.

First dosage was 15ml (1 Tablespoon) on a dish of simple Jasmine rice. Had no other food or vape before eating. Lightly felt effects within 20 minutes; then an hour later I took a smaller dose 5ml (1 teaspoon). That second dose kicked in...almost immediately with a good dopey stone.

I think "Cooking with Chef Baylee420" should be a regular spot on LS...maybe once a week you could throw us a recipe??? Whaddya think bro @BayLee420 ?? And a well deserves slapper for all of your pics and descriptions..very nice!!
